I think my husband is going to answer "yes" to that one.

Coming at it from the other side, as a female, I'm almost exclusively attracted to nerdy guys. My husband's got the biggest collection of D&D books I can imagine. I try to tell him that one of the things that initially attracted me to him was that he's quite skilled at video games, especially first person shooters (my asperger's-specialist-doctor said that my husband "has his own kind of savant skills"). He thinks I'm joking when I say that, even though I've assured him that I'm totally serious.

You know what would be cool?

If we got together some sort of server we could play on, I know plenty of us play games.

In fact I've always been quite the whizz at first person shooters, and haven't been beaten too often.

Yes this is a playful challenge :)

Are there more like you back home? :D

My husband thinks so... either that, or I'm sneakier than I think.

Not that I know of. If there were, maybe I'd have more friends.

I find nerdy women to be very attractive :) They can be themselves and when you talk to them they actually respond with an intelligent thought :)

I see that most of the men here responded that they like nerdy girls. I expected that answer because most of the guys here are aspie and many of them are nerdy themselves. However, if you were to ask NT guys, particularly NT alpha guys, if they thought nerdy girls are attractive, you would probably get an altogether different answer.

Sociable_hermit got it right when he said that the ability to communicate about anything is what really mattered.

Yes, I'm nerdy and my husband thinks I'm hot. He rewards me with giving me time to attend a class on Geology and Astronomy. God, I love him ;-)

Yes, of course nerdy women can be attractive. They are usually very "real" for one thing - they have the natural look.

Ha ha I totally didn't read the topic. But I can say I knew some pretty, nerdy women. I have a good friend that is like that. Conventionally pretty too.
