I'm not sure...
Totally idealistically, author, breeder of certain pets and sportswoman.

Realistically (although still being ambitious and it'd still make me happy! :D ), I'm going on craploads of work experience over the next few months to figure this out, and going to talk to a lot of people in jobs I may want to do.
Namely doctor, pharmacist, therapist and vet! :)

I want to be a filmmaker, first and foremost. But now I'm not so sure. I'd rather be a novelist. I'm even working on some stories now. But I want to turn them into films eventually and I'd hate for some other filmmaker to buy the right to my story and then change everything up and ruin it...

A vet, or conservationist. But now, I think I'd like something more self reliant. Maybe a smallholding. Somewhere a bit wild. Not dependent on a boss or the state.

I started a midwifery degree once too Solvejg. It didn't agree with me, stuck it for 6 months.

Stay at home and read. Now if anyone would pay me to do it?

Minister and preacher, poet, writer (fantasy, children's).

But I may have to resign myself to life as a librarian... however strongly I feel called to the church, so to speak, that's a very intensively-interactive line of work :(

Really inspired by all you amazing women! you're making me expand my plans for my future as well! I'm currently also at University studying Midwifery, just finished first year, it's going really well, I completely love it, and seem to be good at it. I'm in my 40's, and have been working on my emotional state and my social skills for a long time, and it has paid off.

But I also love writing, am currently writing a teen fantasy novel, and maybe there is some midwifery-related writing in my future, it would be great to have another income source, :D

I would love to have a job as a laboratory technician. I like to do all the lab tests to help the doctors figure out a diagnosis. It seems to be minimal interaction and no group work. I would very much like that. I also like the idea of helping people. I always enjoyed the medical profession. :D

I'm studying to become a medical transcriptionist right now but I would love to be able to sing for a living. Unfortunately, being an Aspergirl, I don't think I could handle the pressures of fame.

This. This is not just my dream "job" but what I plan to do.

My partner is going to become an apprentice Electrician working for his self employed soon-to-be-step-father, who said once my partner is fully trained up, and he wants to retire, he's going to give his business to my partner.
And my part in that will be the "paperwork" part. I'll be the one answering the phones, and after my partner has decided what jobs he will take and the ones he'll let go, I'll arange them, and keep track of the spending and payments and all that jazz. I'll be his sectary.

But before my partner was even offered this job, I had my heart set on Home Educating our children since I was 16. My partner, though worried that we might "fail" them, has supported my decisions from the beginning, because like me, he had a horrible experience in school. School failed us both, and I don't want to give it the chance to damage my children the way it damaged us.
