I have real problems with bras. underwires just dig in, elastic too scratchy, lace too itchy, the label doesnt cover the hooks so they annoy me too.

Sadly im too big (36F) to go without.

I got a fitting and it changed my LIFE.

Also, for cute bras from DD to K: http://www.bravissimo.com/

They also have camis and bathing suit tops.

I hate bras most of the time.

I wore just sports bras for years, til my boobs got too big.
Now I wear the same bra. Well, different bras, just identical.

I don't know how to describe them.
I just wear them.

I hate bras. Ack. I was a teen when bras were kind of optional. I was shocked when I was fitted professionally. Me? A 30DD? eek

I was cleaning house recently and found my old 34 C bras. They don't fit me at all any more. I found two larger underwire bras I bought a while ago. When I got them they seemed a little loose but they kind of fit. Now they fit perfectly. I went from 34 C to 40 D.

I mostly wear sport bras now.

I also dislike underwire, lace, etc. Wish I was still a skinny woman with an A cup, like in my 20's. It was sometimes easy to go braless. So now it's sports bras (in cotton, please) and stretchy cotton camis.

I think I must be the only woman on the planet who DOESN'T find sports bras more comfy....they never fit me right. I have very small breasts but I have this huge ribcage -thank you, mother (she's built like an amazon)- so whenever I wear sports bras they either fit comfortably around my rib cage and then have all this loose fabric in the front...or they are way tight and itchy around me and fit okay on my small breasts. I really can't win with bras because the other kind never fit right either and are pokey and uncomfortable....if I'm wearing a bra....I'm always adjusting it every few minutes. I can get away without wearing one when I'm wearing all my oversized clothes...but I always end up feeling bad...because I'm always being mistaken for a guy. Maybe I'm just being girly...but when a cute guy walks by and thinks you're another dude...it kinda sucks.

Here are a few links that might help:

Bravissimo (link) is a company that provides a wide choice of lingerie and swimwear in D-JJ cup, as well as clothing designed especially for "busty" women.

Boobydoo Sports Bras (link) is a sports bra specialist.

Big Girls Bras (link) has bras in selected styles that come in a great variety of rare band-to-cup combinations (like “30HH”) as well as bras for all sizes ("Tiny" to "BBW").

The first two links have stuff in Euros. I dunno if they wouldn't take the U.S. dollar or not. I was looking at the last site and they do have some cute bras and swimsuits. ^.^

I like bras. The feel of support is comfy although it is a pain in the butt to find ones that fit me properly. Plus I'm quite fussy in that they have to be NICE looking bras. I have standards with my undies.

Marks & Spencer make one style of bra that I like. Thankfully, they make it in lots of different colours, so I own all of them.

I checked their site. Do they only take euros? I hate the variety of bras that Americans are presented with, they never fit right if you're plus size. :(

Most of the time I'm ok for enough of the day, but today my sensory thing is on extra PITA. I have some improvement from swapping to another bra but I'm getting fed up. Just wanted a moan really!

I started making my own bras about a year ago, and now even the thought of wearing the store-bought kind makes my skin crawl. It turned out the itchy, prickly feeling was a mild reaction to synthetics, and the ones I make are cotton, so they don't itch. It took some tweaking to get the pattern right, but now they fit perfectly.

I used a modified bodice pattern, shortened, with an elastic band right under the bust (cased in cotton of course). If I wore it over my shirt, I'd probably fit in at the ren faire.
