I have a slight obsession with organisation for example writing in diaries, calendars etc. At the moment I have an academic calendar, filofax, phone calendar (in two phones) aswell as a lecture calendar and study calendar on my phone. They all have the same information in them, but I guess it just makes me feel more comfortable having it in all of them so I can look at the information at any time. I read a lot, and tend to forget to take breaks so without realising may have been reading for a few hours. I also looove batman, i have all the movies, some comics, batman tops, socks and undies as well as a joker ornament. I also have a few episodes of the old cartoon from when I was a child. Always been a strong love! I can name the years the movies came out, who played batman etc. Val Kilmer is my favourite :)

OMG, me too!

I was a bit of a collector of horsey things--figurines and "barbie" horses, mostly. My parents still give me horse stuff randomly.

My older brother is really into Linux, and has a penguin collection. I think his collection is more extensive than mine.

My obsessions come in the geeky variety, like pokemon, video games, and currently board games are getting a grip on me XD
I love girly stuff, they just aren't my obsessions XD

If you don't mind me asking, why would you cut yourself off from tea? It isn't like there's a lot of caffeine in it.

Not completely. I just need to drink more, and acquire less for a while. :)

I collect video games, though lately I haven't been able to afford a lot so instead I collect hats on Team Fortress 2.

I sort of want to also collect silly hats in real life...

The one thing I've always collected is cuddly toys. I tend to go on about celebrities, and my family.

My collections of stuff as a kid evolved into collecting extensive research and studies about the use and making of herbal medicine, plant classification, etc.
Also, since becoming a mom, I have extensively and obsessively researched things like birth, breastfeeding and circumcision and tend to info-dump about all of those topics.

I always have room for a newest fascination, though. I love genealogy, I have a tree with thousands of family members and photos, personal stories, personal info dating back to the late 1300s so far.
I love old cemeteries because they are very peaceful and usually have lovely statues and lots of history. My husband, my daughters and I love to hang out at old cemeteries and have a picnic or something. Family thinks we're totally odd but whatever.
I do love studying about dinosaurs, cryptozoology, ethology, genetics, etc but I don't infodump about those as often but I do research obsessively; I just don't talk about them much.

Crime, Forensics, Word War II, Israel, Secret Intelligence... I got interested in the Amish people recently but didn't tell people much about it yet. But they are neither 'girlish' to 'masculine' tpoics, if you will...

Cooking things, I dont collect anything besides a huge favorites folder of recipes. But i can monologue of different types of herbs or cooking styles, maybe the different flours or the difference in between cornmeal and polenta or yams and sweet potatoes. I've been very interested in cooking or whatever goes along with it since I was little little, like probably 2 or 3.

Nail polish, I collect nail polish, i guess that would be gender specific.

I collect fuzzy blankets, books, interesting lighters, and cute stuffed animals. My husband always steals my lighters and it's very annoying. I don't even use them. I just like to look at them.

I'm not diagnosed but I tend to collect cookbooks, National Audubon Society Field Guides, and knives.
