Yes, a lot of people out there think that "no expression" = depression instead of "no expression" = concentration or "no expression" = I'm tired.

--I need to be more sociable (Why? I'm happy with my own company.)

"You can't be any older than 18."
"You talk too loud."

"You're posh."
"You're pompous/arrogant/judgmental."
"You interrupt people."
"You go too far with expressing your opinions."
"You talk too much."

On the plus side, I've also been told that I have a nice hair colour and good general knowledge.

Stop being so serious
Wheres your sense of humour
Ooh touchy, arent we
Why do you have to know everything?
Stop being such a smartass

Ever notice how most of those remarks are rarely-if ever-made at men? I used to get the "Smile, it's not that bad" from customers at the various crappy jobs I had to work before, during and even after college. You know what? f**k them, for all they know it IS all that bad and in my case I usually was not grinning ear to ear and bouncing around like a puppy because I was exhausted, stressed and dealing with all sorts of family uncertainty. Woman are expected to cheerfully keep pressing on but men are allowed to be grumpy, angry, etc-I CALL BS.

Oh and "where is your sense of humor?" is often used after calling someone out on obvious racism, sexism, etc. For example, a guy tells a joke that degrades women and you tell him it's not funny. 9 times out of 10 you will then be taken to task for not having a sense of humor. I happen to have an excellent sense of humor thank you very much, WHEN SOMETHING IS ACTUALLY FUNNY.

The usual-- too quiet, antisocial, smart, lazy, weird, hard headed. Someone told me once that if you told me there was a brick wall in front of me, I wouldn't believe you until I smashed my head into it. :?

"Why are you so quiet?" - story of my life!
"You're so cynical"
"You mumble a lot!" - only when I'm anxious and my brain doesn't work in time with my mouth!
"You're being pedantic again"
"You never talk!" I would love to but I can't get in a word because you never shut up!
"Stop stuttering!" - I wish! Anxiety usually effects this. :(

"Why are you smiling?" (When laughing at a personal joke that is in my head)
"You are so quiet"
"Don't roll your eyes at me" (I never roll my eyes when someone is looking at me)
"Smile you look angry"
"Shhh. Stop yelling" ( I talk loudly to my parents because they are hard of hearing)
"Okay! You don't have to be so mean!" (When debating something in class and the other student begins to lose)
"Are you alright?" (When concentrating)
"You are always in you room. Don't you want to go out with your friends?"
"God do you like anything?" (When expressing my dislike of something. Apparently NTs can dislike something without any logical reason but when I do it, with several valid reasons to supporting my opinion, I am being unreasonable)
"You are so picky" (I am particular about how I like my food. So sue me)
"Just let it go it is not a big deal" (when something goes wrong I want to assess the situation so I know what mistake was made so I can avoid making the same mistake again)

- "You're too quiet."
- "Why are you smiling?"
- "Are you angry/unhappy? You look miserable."
- "Why are you making faces?"
- "Get your head out of the clouds."
- "Why are you moving so slowly?"
- "I asked you that minutes ago, you're answering now?"
- "You're mean." or "You use words as weapons."
- "You're too nice."
- "You remind me of an angel." (Honest to god, someone I used to work with said that to me over and over again! It was not a sexual advance - it was another straight woman. She seriously thought I looked - and acted - angelic. I guess I just have an innocent look about me. )
- "Are you deaf? I've said your name three times!" (I actually have excellent hearing, except in crowded, noisy places.)
- "You're so smart. How come I didn't think so at first?"
- "You're not that old." (Yes, I am.)
- "Why do you like to stay home so much?"
