I go to the mall maybe once or twice a year. While I like it I find it very stressful after a while.

Shopping in general is stressful for me. If I prepare a list I often discover I have lost it due to my nerves or being distracted, might leave it on a shelf or something. Then I have to go through each aisle to jar my memory of what was on my list, eventually my husband will be "on my ass" (walking behind me when I am tryng to concentrate.) asking "Are we done yet? Are We done Yet? every minute or so.(He is x military and a self proclaimed control freak.) He comes to the store with me but doesn't help. He'll just sit at the cafe area if they have one and read magazines. I can't understand how shoppers can go through the store unaware of everything around them, cutting people off, almost colliding thier carts. I Argued with one middle aged man for verbally attacking me one day when I sighed with despair over something that had nothing to do with his wife taking too long blocking the aisle with her cart. My son had just dropped one of his miniature roadsigns into the freezer slat accidently and was hyperventilating and on the verge of really losing it, and I was taking a deep breath to literally get air to my brain as my head felt like it was spinning. He heard my sigh and thought it was about him and started yelling in my face and I tried to explain to him about my son and that was why I had siged and he started yelling he didnt give a s**T about my son, The mans wife knew he was wrong and was trying to shhhh him, my son was really crying at this point and I all of a sudden just felt like I was on fire. I really don't remember what I said but my voice didn't sound right. But I now know what other mothers mean when they liken themselves to a Mama Bear. The store Manager was called and he ended up getting someone to take the freezer shelf out and get my sons sign. The guy didnt get thrown out though. I ended walking past him in dairy, and didn't know it until he styarted making comments I could hear as I passed. His wife again Shh'ed him, but everything was under control my little boy had his sign. I no longer cared about that guy. He may have been mentally ill or drunk.

As an adult i pretty much avoid the mall completely.
There is nothing I need that I can't find at the thrifty store.
Malls are hell and have only managed to get worse with time.

I am NT and I HATE the mall. I can never find what I am looking for, and if I can find it, it doesn't come in my size or not a color I like. I joke with my husband and say that I am too old to be cool and that is why I can't ever find anything at the mall. I very much prefer to shop online!! ! but really, a LOT of my clothes come from consignment shops. I find name brand stuff all the time, some never worn before!

My mum is a NT and she hates malls.
Why?
Because Parking Space, it's nothing to do around, the McDonalds smell and people pushing around.

I love shopping! :D If I'm not able to go to the mall at least once a week, I began go to stir crazy. The mall is like heaven to me. It's like your in a place set apart from the rest of the world. And it's always changing, too. I hate it when things are the same all the time! The longest time I have ever been in a mall is seven hours, which I was on a shopping spree. Ah, good times.

I actually accompanied my sister to the mall last Sunday and it was pretty funny because I was like all military about it. "We are going to get out of the car, go to the store, buy the bumper sticker, wait for them to make it, take it away, go out the door by that particular store and go right back to the car. We are not going into any stores which have shoes, or any other kind of apparel in them. Then we will proceed to the library as planned."

lol. it wasn't that bad; no one touched me, but we were only in there for about 20 minutes so there wasn't really that much of an opportunity for them haha

it takes me ages to choose stuff and im always pikin stuf up and puttin it down which mean s i end up lookin suspicious and always end up with security following me!

haha...I always pick stuff up! One time I was laughing because this short had all this lint stuck to it and the tag said "Repels lint"...and this security guard came up to me and asked me if I was drunk. When I replied between laughs that I was autistic, he kinda backed off. I was like, "Don't worry, its not contagious..."
