This.

I have very long, very curly hair. It stays up.

Let's face it, women, you either love to have your hair up, or down. Let's ask it here.

As a man, I like it when a woman's hair is down, it really accentuates her face. Plus, it looks so beautiful! Be still, my beating heart.....

Most men like women's hair long and down, but I don't think it accentuates a person's face at all, in fact it helps hide her face, which is what I used to use it for, it was a curtain of sorts.

Unfortunately, long hair is just a pain and I don't like mine that way. I did when I was young, I had it long and I often put it up in a scrunchy, but I can't stand to feel the hair on my collar so now I wear it permanently up, meaning I have cut it short and kept it that way so it's not a problem. So much easier to manage, quicker to wash and dry.

I like to keep my hair long (it used to be tailbone length and now it's about mid-back length, according to the aforementioned chart) and I generally wear it down unless it's hot or really windy and I'm going outside.

I pretty much always wear my hair down. It's waist length right now, but I am planning on getting it cut to collarbone length as soon as possible (maybe next week). I like to grow out my hair and then get it cut off to donate. My preferred length is anywhere between collarbone length and bra strap length. I guess I'm lucky because my hair is easy to manage no matter how long or short it is; all I do to it is run a brush through it three or four times and I'm good to go. I got my hair cut to shoulder length once, and that drove my crazy because the ends of my hair strands were constantly poking my shoulders. So I'll (probably) never go any shorter than collarbone length again!

I only very rarely wear my hair up because I was never able to master the skills needed to do it on my own. I can put it in a very messy and uncomfortable ponytail for when I go swimming, but that's about it. Otherwise, I have to get someone else to put my hair up, which is kind of embarrassing (so I was happy to see a few other people in this thread say similar things :D ). I also like the way I look better with my hair down, but that might just be because I'm so used to it.

My hair is collarbone length and I usually wear it down with a headband. It's naturally a little wavy and can get kind of fuzzy if the weather's humid enough, but I don't mind that.

Putting hair up is a skill worth learning. :) Usually the longer the hair is, the easier it is to put it up. Mine takes about 10 seconds to put up nowadays. I have naturally very slippery hair.

There is no way that I am going to spend more than 10 minutes a day on styling my hair. I am wearing it up but I am thinking about going to a hairdresser for the first time in years. I want a short, cropped low maintenance hairstyle and I don't even care how it looks. Every minute I have to spend on my hairstyle is one minute too much. I just can't be bothered anymore.

I usually wear it in a ponytail, but it does look better down. I have super long hair and if I leave it down it can get in the way.

when I was younger my hair was great and I kept it long, down to the small of my back I loved it

now it is a lot thinner and it does not even touch my shoulders, but I still keep it down, easier to care for, I do simple.

At home, I leave my hair up. I hate fixing my hair but I do it probably 60% of the time when I have to go be around people I know. My sensory issues make fixing my hair frustrating. I hate the blowdryer, but I have curly hair and can't just let it dry naturally. I also hate using hair products because I swear I can feel them not just all over my scalp but all over my face all day (even though I use a washcloth after I fix my hair to wash off my face). So, even though I like feeling pretty and I try to fix my hair most of the time, a lot of the time it just doesn't seem worth the frustration of the sensory issues.

Down. Having my hair up means it pulls at the back of my neck, setting off sensory issues. Plus I lost all my hair at the age of 15 due to severe stress, and as it's just grown back to my old length of waist-length, I don't want to risk it all falling out again, as tying your hair up too much can weaken hair so much it falls out.
