Mine is social graphing in area space engineering, usually in buildings. you know the architecture on how buildings are set up and are starting to work, also interest and growing stocks and how the infiltration works. about a week ago it was vending machines and atms.

I also look at the buses and grids to calm myself down.

Its all fun while it lasts but I am too sterile to even function or focus with that due of me being homeless and older men trying to pick me up and get me into there pants.

Yeah its a hard life :/

I'm into perler beads (perlerbeads.com). It's a little embarrassing but it keeps my mind active.

They seem to fade and change overtime but currently, *Mormonism (of all things!), cute stationary and Filofaxes, nature related faiths, My Little Pony: FIM, tea, owls, and faeries.

I did have one instance where an interest didn't fade and that is now my major; music history.

*I'm going to have to stop this one... I've got a lot of (admittedly nice) people on my case to convert me when I just wanted to learn about it. Oops?

Hmm... not sure yet if I'm an aspie or not but this is what I think:

Current: History ( different aspects, often changing) , Harry Potter, The Sims 2

Past: Random things I got set essays on but became really interested in, such as Benidorm (the town in Spain) and the Arab Spring
Scooby Doo

And to finish with a piece of advice: Don''t develop a strong it rest in nutrition or you'll end up in a psycologist's office and you'll have to talk your way out...

Current: Cats, birds, parenting, relationships and relationship problems, ASD

Past: Lakota Sioux Native Americans, Harlem Renaissance poets (Langston Hughes), twins, feral children, occult/psychic, writing and poetry, baby names, MBTI personality testing, etymology, serial killers, cults, black history, interracial history, colleges, freemasonry, etc.

Does anyone else have "obsessions" with saying certain words? I use unusual words to what must be interpreted by others to be "excessive"...

Oh mah gawd I can't tell you how many obsessions I have. Right now, it seems to be a mix between Castlevania, Kuroshitsuji, the fact that I think Pro-Lifers suck and how awesome Homeboy Industries is.

I'm leaning more toward Castlevania and Kuro right now.

My obsession with 9/11 is a little disturbing, i'll admit

Sorry if this has been asked before but I am new to the forums and have only just begun to realise that I could be on the spectrum as of a few weeks ago. What counts as an obsession? I have intense and unusual interests, but what turns an interest into an obsession? I have tried to google this but haven't found an answer to the question. Thank you!

An obsession is basically what it says. it's something you are obsessed with for a while until you move onto something else. If it's something you talk about constantly or feel you can't live without, it's considered an obsession. That's what I think for my obsessions anyway. Like, my obsession with Loki/Tom Hiddleston. This is an on and off obsession that seems to come and go for me a lot.

Thanks, Loki. I like your picture, by the way, it makes you seem very friendly.
