I tend to order my clothes online because I have more of a variety of stores, but I'm really starting to like the idea of going into a store and trying things on. For my birthday tomorrow my mom is taking me shopping.

I have ordered clothes online a few times, but in general, I'm wary of buying clothes online unless it's T-shirts, because I know how T-shirts fit and what the fabric feels like.
I ordered a couple of hoodies from walmart.com, and when they came, the shoulders were too tight (I could feel the fabric pulling on my shoulders whenever I tried to raise my arms), and the red was a lot brighter than it looked on the website (the kind that burns your retinas), so I returned them.
Sometimes certain fabrics have a lot of polyester or acrylic, and they feel like wearing a plastic bag, but other times, (like with fleece sweatshirts), it doesn't feel like that at all, so sometimes you need to try the clothes on first.
I also don't like the idea of wasting so much money on postage if I have to return something.

And then there's the issue of tags. If a tag annoys me, I just cut the stitching to remove it completely (if you just cut the tag, it leaves a little piece that can sometimes still annoy the crap out of you). I was SO thankful when they started making tagless clothes, although sometimes the stuff they use to print the tags on the inside of the clothes cracks and gets scratchy. I hate that.

I prefer buying clothes in a store, although I don't like the process of buying pants, because I don't like having to keep taking my shoes off and putting them back on (I wear boots most of the time). Usually I just hold the pants up in front of me, and if the waistband wraps around to the middle of both of my sides, then I'm pretty sure they'll fit. Sometimes they're a little too small or a little too big. When my mother sees me doing this, she keeps saying "why don't you try them on? I don't understand why you won't try them on. If they're too small, you'll have to return them, so why don't you just try them on?" Because it's a hassle, that's why.
The same with buying shoes. Sometimes I'll try them on, but other times, I just hold the sole of the shoe up against my shoe to see if they're the same size. That's probably why I usually only have 1 or 2 pairs of shoes that I wear every day. (either boots or sneakers. And sandals for the summer).

I definitely love to wear makeup an cute clothes. I have high-functioning autism, not Aspergers, but I love makeup, and I am really into fashion and anything girly. I love to wear dresses, skirts, cute tops, earrings, jewellery, you name it. I stand out from my friends (non-autistic friends) because they don't wear that stuff, but they admire my outfits everyday when I come to school.

I love wearing makeup and clothes that I like, but it's not a must. When I feel like putting thought into how I look, I will wear a thought out outfit and elaborately flattering or creative makeup. That's just some days though, other days I'll just wear my bare face and whatever is comfortable. I'm okay with both versions of me, I just like a little variety sometimes. When it comes to clothes and cosmetics there's always the "Comfort first, appearance second" rule because I don't want to wear uncomfortable things, even if they look good.

Absolutely! Not makeup so much but I like a little, love bright colourful clothes esp if fabric feels soft and flowing. I always dye my hair have been every colour from blond through to purple lol. Like doing my nails but usually forget to.

Hi! New here.
I do wear makeup at work and when I go out somewhere, but it is just powder and mascara. When I try to do eye makeup, I just look like a little kid took a crayon to my face LOL. Anyway it just ends up being annoying because it runs and who has time to check to make sure no raccoon eye is going on? As for my hair, I have tried to do cute styles like those side braids but just can't fathom how to get my fingers to work that way so it is pretty much just in a ponytail or straightened. On weekends I do nothing to it ever. Hairspray is gross. It takes my boyfriend way longer to get ready for literally anything when I am usually done in less than 5 minutes. As for dresses, I like to buy them and then they hang unworn in my closet because I have no idea how to walk in heels and I can sit in comfortable positions in a dress. I am a tank tops and jeans chick all the way, and at home, exchange jeans for comfy cotton shorts. Until adolescence, my hair would never have been brushed if someone didn't do it for me and my clothes were always out of style. There are more than one class pictures where I am the only one in leggings and a huge t-shirt. Oh, and I own exactly one piece of jewelry, a bracelet an ex bought me, and I presently have no idea where it is. Things that dangle annoy me and are prone
to breakage.

I love to shop for clothes and read about fashion in magazines. But I don't like wearing makeup very often. I care about what I wear, but I don't care enough to spend an hour getting ready in the morning. I try to dress well without putting much time into it just by making sure my clothes fit and flatter me.

I don't think of myself as girly at all but do like make up, dressing up not so much because I am fussy and dislike almost everything I try on because of my build. I live in jeans, shorts, skirts and vests. Most of my clothing is Abercrombie or hollister (just because they stock smaller sizes) and I like the fit of their clothes and the fabrics are always nice. Everything seems to go together well too, which is an added bonus. If I'm at home I don't get dressed properly :D anytime I go out I do, But I do always do my make up because its part of my routine.

I do, but I can't do makeup everyday and I can't have high maintenance clothing everyday. Then it just becomes something I really loathe.

Makeup- I like doing it sometimes for some nice occasion or "just because". I did theatre for a while and would often do the makeup but I'm also an artist and I kind of see it as an extension of art. I really like having the time to spend on my eyes and playing with different techniques, but I never go all nuts with my makeup even so.

I like wearing really nice clothing but it will often be a very elegant top and nice slacks and then simple jewelry. Though at a blacktie wedding this doesn't work but the occasional dress is ok- the gown for that was really nice and very comfortable.

If it's something special Hubbs and I are doing- then yes. It's like playing dress up.

For normal life- not at all. It's hot, sticky and everything itches.

I would like to try cosplay though- it sounds fun! But I feel silly because I wouldn't go to a con or anything, just dress up around the house lol

I don't wear make up everyday but I wear it if there is something fun or important to do. When I do wear it I like to have pretty dramatic makeup like dark smokey eyes and/or deep red lips.

As far as my clothing goes, I never wear anything that I couldn't be comfortable in or wear on a daily basis. Leggings, flat shoes, and a comfortable dress is about it.

No makeup ever. I hate it for so many reasons, and won't even put it on for special occasions. It makes me feel like a clown and I'll just end up rubbing it all over my face. I also don't see the point. I'm not ugly. And dudes don't wear it, so why should I have to? What's funny is that guys who are 10+ years younger than me think I'm their age all the time. I think that not wearing makeup actually makes me look younger.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I also hate dressing up. Fancy shoes hurt my feet. All of them. The feel of stockings is the worst! They're like nails on a chalkboard for me. If I could spend every day in corduroys, a t-shirt and hoodie, that would be awesome. That's pretty much what I do. :)
