Almost 5'7", slightly taller than "average" female.
Most family members taller than I (didn't eat my vegetables, perhaps that's why I'm shorter). Mother was 5'9", and her parents were both as tall or taller. Father was over 6', as was his father-but his mother was quite short (not much more than 5') so maybe I got that gene instead.
Don't see connection between physical dimensions and neurological status.

I did not really think they would be,
but it was weird how every girl in this group
was taller then she should be.

Plus I lean towards the neanthal theory,
in which cast there could physical traits past along,
as well as the neurological traits, like brain size,
which dose have some empirical evidence.

Really I just want to find a girl taller than me :(

Just a note: There is no empirical evidence that I am aware of correlating HFA w/ height.

There is also very little research on females with HFA.

I am 5 feet tall exactly, and also petite. Everyone in my family is taller than me, but not by much. Nobody is over 5'6", so I guess we're all hobbits (without hairy feet)

Nothing the matter with being tall! Be proud of your unique stature (ie: good posture!); dress to reflect your height. Plus, many men like tall women - you're like a statue. Sometimes I wish I were tall(er), mostly for practical purposes though, like reaching things on shelves, having to 'jump' into trucks (designed for men)......etc. I wish sometimes I were physically stronger too.

I'm 6'0" (6'4" in my favourite shoes). My sister is also 6'0", dad is 6'4", mum is 5'6".

I love being tall, apart from trying to find clothes to fit.

Wow. I am only five feet tall. i am usually unaware of how short i am until i am around other people. I have problems on the other end. My clothes dont fit either. The pants are always too long. Even petite pants are usually a little too long. My eleven year old nephew is my height right now. Just cant wait to be dragged around like a ragdoll once those nephews are in their teens.

I'm 5'4'', but would be up to 2 inches taller if it weren't for the crooked back.

I am only 5 feet and six inches tall. But, gosh is it hard to find clothes that fit appropriately as I have long arms
and legs!

Same here.

what about body shape? I've also got a long body with a high waist, long arms & legs, and small boobs (thankfully).

Those are probably the same reasons I'd want to be taller... I finally bought a stepstool last month so I can reach the high shelves in my kitchen.

I'm 5'5", which is supposedly average for a woman, but seatbelts never sit quite right on me and pants are always too long. My mom was 5'8", my dad is also 5'8", and I think my brother got all the tallness in my immediate family at right around 6 feet. Most of my female relatives on both sides of my family are probably slightly shorter than I am.

I've never knowingly met another adult Aspie in person (although I'm sure they're around!), so I can't really compare myself there.
