Out of curiosity, how many of us here have endometriosis, or PCOS, etc?
The percentage is rather high in the women on spectrum I have met in real life. I am trying to determine if this is a mainstream feature or a coincidence.
I have/had endometriosis, that went into spontaneous remission after six months of depot lupron (which I will never do again if abstaining from that drug kills me).
not sure if i have/had endometriosis, but i've always had significant problems with uti's and other similar infections. i've thought that i had endo, but it has yet to be diagnosed. always a reoccuring problem with pain in my right ovary, which leads me to believe it could be cysts or endo. i don't know about it having anything to do with the spectrum, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were.
All I know for sure about my reproductive system is that its trying to kill me. I've been back and forth to doctors and tests but they haven't found anything yet. I don't think its anything too serious, (thank goodness) or I would've been in very bad shape by now. I've had difficult periods since my first one, and the difficulties vary, so, I just don't know. Right now I'm holed up on my PC becuse I have cramps and too little energy to do much else.
I think candidiasis (spelling?) is as likely as anything, an I've read it can be an autistic trait, so once I'm diagnosed AS I'll look into it further.
I just find it so hard to get any results form an MD. I went to one not so long ago thinking I may have endo, and I got "Well you're overdue for a pap, so make an appointment for that and then come back and see me.".
yes "SLIM" seems to be of the male persuasion, but why is he pretending to be a female when he is obviously doing such a bad job at hiding it. i read some of her i mean his posts and its pretty apparent that slim is no female whatsover, unless of course he wishes he was. w/e i don't get why people "troll" in the first place. i mean, c'mon, if your gonna try pulling off being the other sex figure out better strategies.

i have reoccuring cysts on both my ovaries that cause frequent daily pain. they think, i also have endo (it runs in families through females) cause my grandmother and aunt had it and had to have historectomies (sp? w/e lol)... i think i have this cause i get really bad periods and around this time, the pain from my cysts seems to get worse. but they can't really dx the endo w/o surgery and i don't want to have it... so yeah.

I am female, but I am a huge tomboy. I did come close to being a lesbian 2 times in a day.

i think tomboys are hot & sexy...! when u decide that u wanna get it awn, step into my office...!
on another note... based on what i read in this thread, i've revised my idea of perfection... basically human beings will acheive perfection when scientists figure out how to attach a male brain to a male body with a penis with the outer surface of a female body.... L00L hmm.. wasn't there some movie about something like this? however i think it was a horror movie... LOL
ok all you women.. i'm not really being serious here... just kidding !
