Wow, one of the questions on an Aspie quiz was if I have a different sexual orientation, how interesting to see the majority of people here have said bisexual.

Me too, I swing back and forth between preferring men and women. At the moment I'm desperately in love with a woman, she looks like she might swing that way but she's been married 20 years. :(

*waves* Queer gal here. If I ran into the right guy I *might* fall for him. But mostly I fall in lust/love with women.

My first experiences were with a woman, but I found myself shamed by family/society and trying to be normal so I did the dating of men. In high school I came out as bisexual and dated both men and women. Then I met my husband and we got married (we have been together nine years). A few years ago I came to terms with myself and realize I am a lesbian. So, I am a lesbian married to a man. Amazingly there are quite a lot of lesbians and bisexual women who come out after they are married to a man, and some, like me, choose to stay married for several reasons.

Pansexual. Gender of my partner is a non-issue to me. *shrugs*

Now, I have dated more men than women, but that's mainly because of where I live. If I had lived in a city in high school, who knows?

Sorry to double post, but I wanted to comment? My maternal biological grandmother was like that. Basically, she got pregnant and got married because she was following societal normals while dating, had six kids, but was attracted to women. She and my grandfather stayed together until my youngest maternal Aunt graduated High School, then Grandma moved in with her partner and my grandfather dated women half his age. He's in a committed relationship with a woman younger than my mother but who has ALS (Lou Geirig's Disease) now. My grandmother is also monogamous with her partner.

(my first overtly sexual experience was with a girl, too. I never counted it though until after my ex-fiancee broke off a hetrosexual engagement at 17- I've Identified as Bi since I was about 14 and Pan since 17, though.)

Such a thing does indeed exist ;)

Although not every male-born woman seeks sexual reassignment, sometimes it's easier to remain in a male body if you're more attracted to women.

(I'm just starting down the transition road, I think I'm going the whole route, but that's a long way off still)

I'm Pansexual, primarily because I'm attracted to personalities, not genitals. I tend to fall hard and fast for those in the androgynous range both physically and mentally. (Usually on the feminine side of center physically and the masculine side of center mentally) The majority of people who fit into this category are female-born genderqueers/bois/dykes, so I honestly do think I'm a femme lesbian trapped in a man's body.

(the transition is about me, not about who I partner with, I don't feel comfortable in a male body, and I usually don't feel comfortable with a male partner.)

There is such a thing... it's called gender identity. Sometimes the gender you identify yourself with can be different from the gender you were born as. So technically a person who is a guy biologically can indentify emotionally as a girl who is attracted to girls. It's called being trans-sexual. It's pretty damn compilicated but it's still possible lol.

Now I'm guessing that reply was a joke but just putting it out there...
Holy crap I sound like a nerd :P haha

I'm in a relationship with a man (three years now) but before I was with him, I was in a relationship with a woman, so I guess I am bisexual but I don't give it a label. I just like who I like regardless of gender
Even though I am with a man now, I still fantasize about other women but I am happy being in a monogamous relationship with a man.
