I don't care what other people think. Girly is kind of immature. Like the whole "OMG that top is sooooo cute!! !! !"

I play loads of video games. I highly enjoy Mortal Kombat, Silent Hill, and Resident Evil. I really don't care about what other people have to say

I tried doing the makeup thing when I was a kid/teenager. For a while, I went through a goth stage and would go all out with the makeup. But I really see it as a waste of time. I don't understand why women feel the need to coat their faces with all kinds of chemicals to make themselves "attractive". I have to force myself most days just to put on "socially acceptable" clothes. I don't shave unless I am feeling self conscious about it and I don't even own makeup. Every now and then...like once every few years...I will get my eyebrows waxed but I will never pluck them. I don't see the point in washing my hair or showering more than every few days. I know this is not normal because other people have told me its not but I think they are over obsessive and shallow....meh.

i think the key is balance. and there is natural beauty products nowadays. and washing yourself is good for you and your health and your mood. (at least, it is for me).

i see make up as a way to decorate my body which is my temple. i see it as a way to emphaze my eyes ( i mostly just put make up on my eyes-mascara, eyeliner and shadows. but not all the time the three. sometimes just mascara)

for me, its not a waste of time, but an investment of personal time on myself to make me look pretty and it put a smile on my face when i look back in the mirror and im content with the look i made.

again, this is my thoughts for what you said. you have the right to do what you want.

Not being girly definitely applies to me. I've never worn make-up (except for that one time during a school festival when I was 5 years old and my teacher said it was obligatory as part of the costume I was forced to wear, blargh).

In my opinion, make-up makes people look older, which I think may be partially true since people who don't know my real age (20) generally think that I'm 5 years younger until I tell them my true age and leave them with a 8O expression.

I also don't wear high heels since they make my feet get tired quicker or any kind of dresses, skirts or shorts since I'm extremely lazy and only shave my legs once a year to go to the beach. Also, I suffer from dermatillomania (a skin picking disorder) and let's just say that the skin on my legs wouldn't look all that smooth even without all that hair. :P

Finally, video games FTW.

I'm not girly by any means because I like a lot of stuff that is associated with guys, like hunting and violent video games. Even though I'm a bit of a tomboy, I still wear makeup. When I go to school, I usually wear a little eyeliner, mascara, blush, and foundation. I don't cake on makeup, but I use a little because I like the way it looks. Caked on makeup usually looks bad anyway. I wear mostly jeans and sweatshirt, but I dress up occasionally. People have called me feminine before, so I guess that's why they get so surprised when I tell them that I'm a gamer.

I never really did girly things, I just did my own thing as a kid and still do. I barely ever wear make-up except nail varnish and even then it's only on occasion (ie when I feel like it) and it's usually my nice-smelling nail polish.

I wear make-up daily but I would say its quite a natural look, I mean I use about 5/6 products depending (does vaseline count?) I wouldn't say wearing make up is a waste of time, considering I can apply it all in about 7/8 minutes :) Nor do I wear make up to please society or anyone else, I just like the way it looks. I prefer my eye lashes darker and my skin not to look so pale. I go through phases though when I just can't be bothered to do it, and would rather the extra 7/8 minutes in bed ;)

I call myself geek chic XD I'm really geeky, but I like girly stuff too. Not makeup though, I really like myself natural. I'll wear lip stains/glosses sometimes, and sometimes eyebrow colour, but for everyday I like plain. If I'm going somewhere fancy, I'll put on makeup, but usually only put a lot on when I want to show off my makeup prowess to other girls XD (Guys don't notice, so I don't bother XD). The way I dress is very girly, perhaps more for comfort then for style, but I still am on the stylish side. Just more the 30+ stylish side XDXDXD (My favourite store is Reitmans)

The only "makeup" I use is also a sunscreen--covers up any dark spots and slows down the development of new ones. That's less for looks than for preventing melanoma. I live at a fairly high elevation, so the sun is more intense.

Lip gloss and a little bit of color to prevent them from getting too dry.

Hair: wash, condition (or use a 2-in-1) and flat iron, because I don't like how it feels when it gets too frizzy.

Use deodorant and shave where I have to for my own sense of "cleanliness."

Clothing: jeans and T-shirts, though I have finally started getting ones that are actually meant for women and that look okay/nice. Don't know if that counts as a "style" or not.

Jewelry: a bracelet I recently made for myself, earrings (usually the same pair) and some kind of pendant.

I prefer to look as "natural" as possible and do not like making a lot of fuss about my appearance, but I have found that a small bit of effort actually makes people treat me more favorably. Yes, in many ways, society s***ks.

Still DO NOT like shopping for clothes. I only do it when I absolutely have to. How anyone can find that "fun" is beyond me. The thought of a "makeover" makes me shudder. I'm fine the way I am--I think my "efforts" are sufficient.

Recently bought a new winter coat--one intended for guys. It's by Walls, is semi-waterproof and has a hood, and was classified as "work wear." It also actually fits right (a men's regular large). If anyone gives me odd looks, let them eat their words when they're freezing to death in their "pretty" but utterly useless "girly" jackets.

So no: I am not "girly", but I can look "feminine enough" to "pass."
