This is a great site for tracking monthly cycles so you know which days to prepare for: http://monthlyinfo.com

I registered immediately.

Particularly in the last year, the first day of my period is debilitating. I have 'tricks' I use for this -- extra strength midol and diphenhydramine (Benadryl/"PM"). Having the SO give me Midol as he leaves for work so that by the time I wake up, it's at least sort of helping. I also lie down and/or sleep a certain way that helps.

Also, I never am able to tell the GYN when my periods are. I have little concept of time, even though I know that they usually come closer to the end of the month. They will badger you with that question till the end of time. Then they badger you with length of periods. Either they're short and heavy, or long and take an eternity. They don't tend to accept that answer until you tell them to f*** off.

And. Well. Text message reminders would be awesome, reminding me to check on the pads/tampons/midol supply.

My first period was when I was 11, and it was like the book/movie, "Carrie." Not a good scene.

When I was ten, my mom got me a couple of puberty-related books that I read cover-to-cover. If your Aspie is anything like many of us, this method of info is really handy.
