I have a big head, probably to fit that gigantic brain in of course.
Most hats are too small or if it fits it's tight enough to cause a headache.

Haha that's my theory too... my huge ol' head (huge forehead too!) is due to having a huge brain. But yeah it does make it hard to find hats that fit. The largeness of my cranium also more noticeable because I am short (5'3"). That's interesting that it's supposedly a marker for AS. I've read numerous times that Marilyn Monroe had an enormous head, and some people say she had AS. Anyone else read about this?

My head is 23 and a half inches, around. It's also hard to notice, because I'm a big lass.

I haven't heard about the Marilyn Monroe thing. But I know that large heads are quite common among autistics, something to do with the size of the brain, or certain parts of it. All the aspies/auties I know have large heads (barr one), and I know many.

I had to send away to get a bicycle helmet that fitted me, and I've never worn a pretty "woman's" hat since I was about ten. I wear XL hats for men, and some of them are tight on me.

My son also has a huge head, and my Dad. My son has AS, not so sure about my Dad. But my head is really freakishly large. I look like a female Frasier Crane.
