I think the sub-forum is perfectly fine as it is.

No, you changed what I said. This is called "misquoting" and "lying". It also implies that women and children are to be met with violence for being rude in Victoria's Secret stores.

Have you been to the beach recently by any chance?

And doesn't the threat of violence depend on who the woman is? There are lots of women who, er, aren't feminine in the slightest.

Im not the boss of anyone.
However I do my best to make sure that the rules are followed and the rules state that male contribution here should be helpfull (either of the stickies at the top of this section will give you further information on that issue)and there have been complaints about pointless comments that derail a serious thread recently so Im trying to show you nicely that they arent welcome here.

I agree with you about the sub-forum ... it's some of the people that post in it that present the real problem ...

well, naturally. i think some people will find a way to cause problems though no matter what the rules are.
'cause it's super-cool to be rebellious, or so i've been told.

the Women's section of WP is not the whole entire world.

i think that it's good to have a dialogue about this, but i doubt any changes will happen. i think the OP started a new thread so she could have a poll.

yes, it's been established whose side you're on. Don't be so literal. I meant that if she had her way, one half of the earth would be populated by men, the other half by women - the brighter, nicer decorated, nicer smelling side.

Well don't you be so hyperbolic and go putting words in people's mouths.

Wanting a little private space is a perfectly reasonable thing.

They often make women's changing rooms separate from men's. Shock horror. Building designers are attempting to drive the sexes apart.

 you are wrong about my opinion, and i stated it on the other thread if you care to read it. now, you said not to take you literally, then reiterated using the same words. ?

Why do some of you boys have your knickers in a twist over something which has no chance of happening? :?
(genuinely curious)

And? Is it better now?

Guess not.

But seriously now... I'm not sure if this should be turned into a gender politics question. In essence, it's about the fact some women would like to change their clothes (metaphorically speaking), without men looking.

To establish the WP policy on this matter in a more general context, and to drive the point home to those who would dispute it.

Right now, anyone can post in any forum (AFAIK) except for minors posting in the adults-only section, but that is more for legal reasons than anything else (IMO) - no one wants Alex to be sued because some uptight parents became livid over a post their children read or an image they saw on WP.

If men are going to behave like lude pigs then it would be against WP rules anyway. This place has had a anti-woman rep in the past but if we start having to qualify who is and isn't female then it will only highlight the gender "problems" on WP.

That and "Women Only" will be a red flag for all trolls.
