Diagnosed ASD at 17. Everyone who knows me well is quite surprised it wasn't sooner, but a lot of other factors got in the way when I was a child.

I was diagnosed in 2011 at 21.

A lady who was Aspie (but I didn't know that) moved in next door. We became friends over time and she gave me a test to fill out without me knowing what it was. Turned out it was an Aspie test (but a proper one). She told me my life would be easier if I got myself diagnosed so I did the next month later. If it wasn't for her, I would still be clueless. I always wondered why we got on so well and why her jokes were so awesome, now I know.

Diagnosed with Asperger's in early 2007 at 24. Not diagnosed with much other than that, except for eating disorders and depression in my high school years.

I was diagnosed in 1999 at the age of nine. It was the same year my four year old brother was diagnosed with autism and my parents were reading through the traits for him and looking at me going "Oh dear lord we have two of them."

Age 25 in 2011. I was in the middle of writing a thesis, but I fianlly accepted that there was a real problem when a friend of a friend noticed it and was able to ID the issue.

I was 16 when I was diagnosed with Asperger's. The year before that, I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety. I never really fit in with the others--and I still don't--and often wondered why. My parents just assumed I was shy. My godmother thought I had social phobia. The other kids thought I was either weird or rude. But I didn't know why I was so different until I got my diagnosis.

I do not have an official AS diagnosis yet. My therapist keeps telling me that the tests they use in their office (by the MDs) aren't applicable to adults. However I first really came to this conclusion last year. I'm in my late 20s (born in the early 80s).

I am diagnosed with anxiety and depression.

I was diagnosed in 1996 or '97 when I was only 2 years old. My aunt had diagnosed me shortly before my professional diagnosis because she works with special education students.

I was born in 1971. I wasn't dx'd until late 1999, a few years after AS was recognized in the US. So I was 28.
