Just wondering if there are any black women on the forum. I am black myself and wanted to know your experiences with aspergers. I suspect I may have it but it seems like not too many black people have it from research ive been doing. I would like to go in for a professional diagnosis eventually i was just wondering if cultural differences has an effect in how it may present itself in african americans.
I'm new and I'm black woman. I'm embarrassed to talk about my experiences with Asperger's since I was diagnosed very young. But I want to make sure that it's still AS before talking about my experience due to me having other diagnosis along with AS. I don't want to say much about it because it's rather embarrassing to talk about it since NT's who are the same race as me are very insensitive and inconsiderate.
