It's more often subtle and uninformed than obnoxious and stupid, but we have some of everything. It usually makes most of the dudes here cringe, but for some reason the haters tend to post more, which at least makes the moderators' housekeeping easier. I guess for each espresso of mine those guys chug a Rockstar. From what I've seen by and large they're not particularly bad people, just deluded. They don't realize how miniscule the gap between us & NTs (or them and women) can be.

I wouldn't mind exposing those men to a healthy friendship with a female, then.

Maybe there should be a topic made for men to practice talking to women on here, but there might be one already (I haven't checked).

While it's easy to look down on misogynists, I think the behavior should just be corrected with normal, warm interactions with women so that there is less and less negativity associated with co-existing with them.

Reminds me of a joke which may probably work:
"Internet misogynists to meet an actual women the first time."

I know internet social types love slinging around labels, but as many had said before, it's mostly a chip on the shoulder, bad experiences etc. Do they actually have a desire to look down and degrade women? Probably not for a lot of people...

I might start something up when I have the energy to, because why not? It'd be nice to bring everyone together for one sole purpose, people deserve a chance to explore with the opposite gender and be forgiven for their mistakes.

I think socializing in general is good for us Aspies. Some of the males (at least from some of the forums) are stressing out too much with the whole "girlfriend" thing...

Achieving a girlfriend wouldn't change much if it's just for a temporary boost of confidence, and all of the upkeep that goes along with it.

there is one female troll here who keeps on making accounts just to mock and humiliate men.

she started even making male accounts, and talking to herself, just in order to mock men.

i think she was banned in total 35 times at least.

Hm, that's a lot of effort put in just to do that. I guess she has a lot of time on her hands.

Those logs would be hilarious to read, but it seems those ladies can be a real handful when they're offline too. The most serious feminist I've ever met went as far as to post a facebook warning about it, back when I had an account there at least. Thankfully I'm pretty sure I've been spared the brunt of that noise.

Although I have no idea where this is going I think it's probably a simple case of "Some people just want to watch the world burn..." which we could resolve socratically. I hope I can help.

yep, i've never seen a guy do that, but she just loves making guys here miserable. A true sociopath, IMHO.

Hopefully that's only the worst to find around here. If I ever see her around, I'll be sure to defend.

That's just as repugnant as the misogyny that goes on. In the forums I use, I haven't noticed the phenomenon of hostility from women to men. But then I stay well away from L and D, so making it is as you say there.

When someone - man or woman - trolls to the extent that the women you cite did, I think there could be an "alert" thread for members, listing the aliases used in the past and notifying members new ones created by the same person. She is obviously severely disordered and disruptive to an extent that is beyond toleration.

I used to practice misogyny as a young man because my Mother beat me as a child and I would date abusive females as a result, but I am better now.

I don't see misogyny coming from the older male WP'ers. Mostly just some of the younger single guys, and I think back to early 2014 and I can not compare the misogynistic content then with now. It is vastly different.

Maybe I am a bit blind to some of it, my base tolerance levels might be different.

I think that open discussion resolves these differences, a certain level of misogyny has to be tolerated in order to have the necessary conversations without people putting barriers up because they feel invalidated.

Or worse again, not discussing their issues at all, and internalising toxic levels of hatred.

It's some of the younger men, not the older ones here, as you say. Not having read certain forums, I can't say whether it is better overall now, though am happy to take your word for it. Is the Women's forum better too than it was?
