Even so, I think my experience is still tonnes better than my classmate who is still paying on a student loan for her jerk ex to go to college because she was "so much in love" and "he's such a sweetheart" and "we'll be sitting in our back porch, gazing into the sunset and watching the grandkids playing in the sandpit together". YEAH... RIGHT ! Hindsight is 20/20, and if we both are telling our friends / family / neighbours / anyone who is in love but still cares to listen to run a damned background and credit check already !
