i had PTSD as a young kid and it caused me to put on alot of weight. By the 5th grade I was severly overweight...
I lost weight practicily overnight when I became a vegetarian at the age of 14, but I have always had a larger frame.
I exercise regularly....can't run very well on my wonky feet, but have always been an avid bike rider, and um I am a vegetarian again...I really don't like sweets much, but I do drink a bit.
I am 5 foot 2 and and depressed enough about my weight to not want to disclose it...I am not obese....but I am on the heavy side
I would like to lose about 40 lbs...but it seems like no matter what I do the scale is stuck at a slightly higher notch every year or so....
Sorry wasn't trying to make you feel like you need to disclose. I only put my weight in because I felt like it might help the discussion. I'm just shy of petite so I KNOW the issues of keeping the weight off of a frame your size.
Geez since I hit the big 40, am more isolated and doing the most of the childcare as hubby is swamped at work I gained back some extra pounds. My mom makes me laugh, because when she was a kid she was flat out skinny. She went to the store and ordered milkshakes with her sister and they ate all they could to gain the weight. She said as soon as she got a desk job she soon learned she could gain weight. When I was a child her she weighed more then she does now I would say. She has to watch it especially as she has blood sugar flucuations.
