I have long, straight hippie hair.

Or, if I'm feeling particularly saucy, chin-length 1920s flapper bob. Usually with bangs.

These are the two haircuts I've had my entire life, barring the perm my mother made me get in 8th grade (which made patches of my hair fall out).

The color has changed, from brown to black to magenta to flourescent magenta to ronald mcdonald red to blonde to brown again.

But I refuse to make doing my hair a daily project. As such, I wash it at night and sleep on it wet so it has body in the morning. If it turns out badly, I wear a ponytail. If I wear a ponytail, I have a fondness for letting a strand fall doen on either side of my face, so I can hide behind it and/or play with it.

I have naturally wavy hair. As a kid, it was always in one or two pony tails because I hated doing anything with it. It was dark brown but it's getting really grey now. The grey is threatening to take over, so I've added highlights to downplay the grey strands.

Sometimes I straighten my hair...which becomes obsessive for me. LOL Once I start I can't leave it alone! Lately though because it's getting damaged, I've been letting it be wavy. It's basically wash & wear hair. I can never get a pony tail or have it clipped up just right so I wear it down with bangs (those I've had since I was a little girl). It's cut in a basic shag medium length. I've never really been good at styling my hair though I have seen so many cute styles. I can color it, & add highlights but that's it!

My hair is pretty much always how it looks in my avatar. It used to be super long, past my waistline, but then I decided to cut it short.. 27 inches cut off and donated to Locks Of Love. Since then it's pretty much been shoulder length or a bit shorter, cut the same length all around. I used to only put it in ponytails or in a bun but now I usually leave it down. I also had bright blue hair for awhile, which I miss, but it was just so much work!

This is a terrible picture, but this was the day I liked my blue hair best: http://a791.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/im ... 8d86b6.jpg

Next time I get it cut I want it to be short in the back that angles to long in the front.. and then it'll be dyed a deep blue-black.

long, wavy and dark brown with some layers. I just let it air-dry because I'm too lazy to do anything else

Mine too. My hair used to be really long, but now i have it short (growing it out again! Yay!) and it does some strange things. today it actually looks really really nice, and i can't figure out how it did that. :/

Mines naturally curly so all I do is tie it back into a ponytail I have little patience to fuss and blow dry it.

Mine's super fine and dead straight, so there's not alot I can do with it.

Usually I just get it cut into a slightly layered chin-length bob with a very blunt fringe, but I get it styled so it looks like a wig. Love that style; the more 'wig' it looks the better. I'm lucky it stays so straight and flat I don't need to do much other than brush it.

At the moment though it's long. Just never remember to go to the hairdresser. My partner likes it long though so I'll leave it for him for a month or two.

I occasionally dye it to cover the stripe of grey I have because I dislike the asymmetry of colour, recently I bleached it. otherwise I try an remember to brush it lest it mat up. It's very fine and somewhat curled but it's weight makes it look straight except right after i wash it it it has waves at just under every inch like if one had braided it and let it dry then took it out from braids.

My hair is long, very curly, and frizzy. (But not kinky like the average African-American hair.)
When I don't weant to do anything with it, I just wear it in a ponytail or bun.

Or I just put alot of conditioner, mousse, and hair gel in it, and comb it and leave it down. It looks great when wet, but then it puffs out as it dries.

Back combed and tied back. It's a bit 'deconstructed'.

I like doing all sort of weird things with my hair. I dye my hair black and have an undercut which I have shaven to the skin (I am half bald  ) My fringe (I think there called bangs in the US) is cut to a point Vampira style and dyed blue. I sometimes experiment with synthetic hair or dreadlock extensions too. I've been daring myself to shave off more hair so I can wear it as a DeathHawk (a gothic, teased mohawk) but I have not plucked up the courage as yet.

When i was younger I experiment lots with my hair, name it I tried it. Experiment with colours... I had cow s**t green hair once trying Henna black... I had pretty good 'clean' dreadlocks (still have them!) and I had a shaved head too.
At the moment I just try to have hair that's easy and practical, but I must say the most practical is a shaved head, but again that's pretty cold during winter... so I have brown/red hair that I try to keep out of my face...

I am very uncomfortable with my hair. I don't like not wearing a scarf over it, as a result.
My hair is dark, thick, fine and rail-straight.
It is a very akward grown-out bob..meaning I had it cut it into a (very bad) bob last year and then it grew out again..and now I am afraid to go to the hairdresser to have something done with it, because I am worried I will wind up with another lousy bob. I don't want my hair so short that I can't put it up.
I can't wear it down, because I don't like the way it looks and I can't stand the way it feels.

Usually I wear it in two buns or pigtails or braids with a bandanna over it. My bangs are usually ragged because I cut them myself.

I wish I could find a hairstyle that I could tolerate better....or a stylist who I could communicate with...
