Since, according to you, women are that much plagued by internalized misogyny, then why I never see you making threads and posts to enlighten women how they train themselves against it and get rid of it?

I realize that in your culture it is acceptable for men to chide women and tell them what to do, but you should know that it's quite offensive to Westerners. The great majority of women on WP are American or English.

....and here comes your racist stereotyping.

I was *suggesting* to Kjas what she should do, not to "women" - Kjas is a one person. Kjas is not all women.

Plus, I use this sarcastic suggestive tone with everyone, men and women alike.

How is a subforum about women's discussion which is also open to men to read being treated badly?

By "treated badly" I'm talking about misogyny, not this subforum.
I do think it would be nice to have a women-only board, but I don't think that the lack of one equates to being badly treated. Just as not having a men's board doesn't.
And, I don't think we need to see penises and vaginas in order to have a women's subforum. WP already has a "Kid's Crater" and two adult boards, despite not being able to prove anyone's age.

And along with the womens' forum there is no criteria for who is allowed to post. The names of the subforums are about the topics of the discussion, not who's having them.

P.S. YippySkippy, I've seen you misinterpret someone disagreeing with you in a less than polite way as sexism. I think you should take a step back as I think you're missing the forest for the trees.

Funny, I've always considered the majority of males in the NT population to be misogynists. The sheer amount of sexually belittling comments I have had to listen to from other men is quite frankly staggering. Worst of all, they usually expect you to join them in this vitriolic mocking of the other gender, and if you refuse to at least exhibit the faintest of smirks then you are looked down upon by them.

Aren't you Westerner?

You should know better that it's quite offensive to tell Yippy (or *any* person who happens to be female) what she should do.
YOU tell that she should step back? and to look into the trees too? how dare you?
That's a misogynist patronizing.

As for me, I come from a primitive middle eastern cave - so my ill behavior is more justified, but Yippy might tame me one day.

See? I am being progressively tamed by your western influence, and soon after, I am gonna attack every guy who dares to talk to a lady.

I said it once like 10 pages back, and I'll say it again: Add gender back to the profiles, make a men's forum and a women's forum and make it so they're only readable by the appropriate gender. Problem solved.

But people can choose whatever gender they want when they sign up. There is no way to verify who they are. And that would just encourage trolls to create more burner accounts. Besides there are far more benefits to keeping the thread open to all.

And let's do it because... TWO women complained that they feel observed by men?

No need to make another account. Just go to your settings page, select whichever sex is appropriate for the subforum you want to post in, and switch the sex setting back when you are done posting there.

Some people should just get used to the idea that whatever they post on this website will eventually be read by someone they don't like.

Good point.
