Indeed. That's why I do all of the hiring at work.
Do you only hire the women with the short skirts and big boobs, Fnord? C'mon, tell the truth and shame the devil.
I hire on merit. I don't hire "skirts and boobs"; I hire people.
... You seem like you'd be a fair enough guy.
I'm not "fair". I'm a jerk. People who try to impress me with their "skirts and boobs" or "muscles and macho" quickly find out that if they lack the ability to do the work, they don't get the job.

I recall one woman who was all legs, curves, and cleavage in a tight outfit. She didn't know what to do when I walked in holding a white cane and wearing nearly-opaque safety glasses...

Was that all you had on?

I always wondered what you have going on under that cape there.

PS:no that wasn't meant to be a sexist remark, just general curiosity.

If the mods aren't going to lock this thread, can people please stop posting in it who aren't discussing the topic at hand? Make a new thread for your discussions, please.

Why? As long as this thread stays open, we are free to post what we want, as long as it does not violate The Rules.

And for the record, I have never felt alienated/discounted by most of the autistic men here, only the few who seem determined to impose their points-of-view upon me and others.

Have you ever felt alienated/discounted by the women, Fnord?

Only once, and she stopped posting about six years ago.

Is that so? Why is it then, when one reports a post, one has the option of selecting as the reason for reporting "off topic"?

Sorry to hear that. I guess it can go both ways then.

Do you enjoy hurting people's feelings, making fun of them? Does it make you feel good? I don't understand people like you. I don't want to play your game, I don't enjoy it. :( Please leave me alone.

No worries. She alienated a lot of members here, not just me. It's the Alpha-Male wannabes that cause the most headaches. They just can't seem to deal with the fact that all of their attempts at arrogant intimidation just don't impress me.
