I have my period now. :(

I feel depressed on my period and feel like I can't cope with my struggles with Aspergers once I have my period. I completely catastrophise and worry endlessly and swing from being clinically depressed to horny several times a day.

The week building up to it is terrible though. I think so harshly about everyone. I hate it, I don't like feeling this way. What little attention span I normally have is completely shot, this stresses me more as it makes it makes it next to impossible to get any uni work done.

Any advice about how to cope would be greatly appreciated.

I was feeling moody all day. When I visited with my mom and told her that I wasn't in a good mood, she told me that she could tell because I seemed "exasperated" from my tone of voice. A little later I discovered that it was because I started my period. Now I'm completely exhausted and I have hand tremors, though they seem to be subsiding since I got something to eat. I can just tell that this period is going to be a bad one, especially since I don't start feeling this awful until the 2nd day.

I swear I only cry on my period, but I cry buckets about silly things.
I try not to, but it builds up over the day and by the time i'm in my room all I want to do is curl up with my cat for a few hours...

I hate mine so much.

I have trouble keeping track of and remembering things so I don't always know when it is due but I think I'm about to get it since I had some cramps yesterday and the cramping is getting pretty bad today.

As I get older I get more spotting between periods which I hate and didn't have at all when I was younger. I also seem to be bleeding heavier. There was a time when I managed to just use tampons which was good because I don't like wearing underwear. Now it seems like I usually have to wear a tampon and a pad or I end up with blood on my clothes.

My last one I had a gross moment that never happened before (I actually bled so heavy I had a tampon fall out, there were gross clots too) and made me post this. This is how I feel when I have my period.

I hate periods so much. Thankfully, mine are nowhere near as bad as they were a few years ago. A few made me throw up and sometimes was in so much pain I couldn't walk. :(

I'm sorry but I need a place to rant about this taboo subject. It hurts...it hurts so bad I wanna cry. I can't even talk on the phone let alone keep a conversation going on a message that was sent to me. I'm not even eating any sugar/salt and it hurts so bad.

Mother nature sucks. Normally I wouldn't say this but I hate having a vagina! And for people who use our pain as constant reminder of ridicule, the same people who don't have to go through it, F*** you!

god i hate being a woman so much once a month. i hate my uterus and i hate my vulva and i hate my ovaries. i hate nature. like why do i have to be hungry and nautious at the same time? and i dont know if the cold weather or hot weather is better for symptoms- cold doesnt help with cramps(which by the way make it feel like my uterus is being scrunched up and pulled out of my orifaces) or hot weather because being warm makes cramps less awful but doesnt make my hot flushes feel good. i feel gross.

I started my period yesterday. It's bad. The bleeding isn't very heavy, but it's physically painful. And even though lately I have been taking vitamins and medications to help with my moods, which have been working well for me in general, I still overreacted to something that I shouldn't have gotten upset about and I feel bad about it.

I HATE CRAMPS. When my period comes at night, they wake me up and I have trouble getting back to sleep. All I can do at that point is writhe in pain.

Well, this month, my period started 3 days earlier than expected. I'd been regular for a couple of years (a year taking agnus castus and a year without anything). So, I'm back on the agnus castus to sort my cycle out again - no big deal, I hope.

^Maybe I should try some of that. Mine are often late, always have been, although not as bad now as they were, sometimes I would miss a month or two. And no there was no chance I was pregnant!

I just worked out that I've probably had in excess of 190 periods, feels like more. :? Maybe that was a strange thing to think about anyway....

^ I would recommend them as they really worked for me. I was getting cycles that could be anything from 19 to 50 days. As soon as I started to take them, my cycle went to a regular 28/29 days. I've never been regular before, so this is just amazing. They've been used for centuries and there are no known serious side effects. I take them for the first 2 weeks of each cycle, then stop when I should have ovulated and might be pregnant.

good luck

^I'll look into it, only thing is I have trouble taking tablets though so unless I can get it in liquid form it might be a problem. Thanks :)

^ You can get it as drops that you can dilute with water.
