in all honesty i am; most of the time. about 3-4 times a year i feel sexual (or less). other than that specific individuals can trigger the feeling of sexuality, but it seems to be more of a wanting them to feel good than a wanting it for myself.

I seriously try not to think sexual thoughts, as I'm only 15 and shouldn't be thinking about it.

Says who? It's perfectly natural to think of such things, even at a young age. And if you take the self-imposed thought control too far, you could cause psychological damage. ...Okay, well, probably not. But hey, it happened to Tolstoy.

Never. There is a difference between enjoying independence, which I have for years in the past, and being adverse to sexual relationships.

same here. Though it's something I want to do sometimes, I can't picture myself having sex

My husband and I (both Aspies) have been mostly asexual our entire lives. We are not unhappy about it. I believe that advertising makes sexuality seem more important than it is. We have been together 33 years. We have always been considered to be quite attractive (in that mass-marketing way.) We hate mass-market manipulation.

I identify as asexual. I'm not averse to the idea of a relationship so much as I honestly dislike being touched. And ick, bodily fluids.

I do a lot of the time I have had a couple of short-term non-sexual relationships but didn't feel sexually attractive to them. However I do think about sex and feel aroused when reading about it sometimes.

I think I am asexual... I have no desire to have sex & find the idea repulsive. I do like looking at guys I think are attractive though, I just dont want to have sex with them...

Yes, I am asexual. I always have been. I've never been on a date or had a crush on anyone. I simply have no interest in sex or anything related to it. I also have severe sensory issues & do not like being touched.

How common is Asexuality with Aspies? 8O 1% of the world's population is asexual- what % has AS?

I am asexual. I have never been sexually attracted to any gender at any point in my life and I also have no desire to take part in any activities that are of a sexual nature. I'm also aromantic and find mushy stuff utterly repulsive, especially when perpetrated by those in public (real-life or in the media).

So I guess it's painfully ironic that I have a significant other, with whom I have been in a long-distance relationship with for two and a half years so far (we haven't met in person). The whole time I have honestly tried to feel sexual attraction and to be comfortable about romance, rather than only feeling platonically affectionate in a deep way that makes me want to spend the rest of my life with him (not to remove the platonic feelings, but to add to them)...

I have trouble interacting sexually with a partner (I mean, someone I am involved with emotionally), but could probably be sexual with a 'stranger' or someone I felt a healthy emotional distance to. But I'm definitely oversexed in the head!!

This is me exactly, to the point of cross-dressing...
