Thrift stores mostly. I'm close to the upper size limit of most mainstream UK stores (an 18, and they mostly go up to 20-22, if that), so I'm going to have issues finding what I want anywhere that isn't specifically plus size, but I'm getting better at altering/making my own stuff. I only venture into the high street chains if there's a style around that I really, really personally love, or if I'm after underwear or shoes.

I just bought a jacket from H&M, I get quite a few things from there.

I usually buy my clothes at a Wal-Mart, Target, or JC Penney's, usually to buy new socks, undergarments, or sometimes new outfits. However, I've recently bought my clothes at a Forever 21, where I got myself a new pair of shoes.

90% of my clothing comes from New York & Company. It's one of the only stores I've found in my area with clothes that are age-appropriate (in my 20s), affordable (provided you go during a sale, which is almost always), and a good fit. The exception is jeans - those always come from Gap, which is a bit pricy but worth it.

I have a bit of an on-again-off-again relationship with Old Navy. Sometimes they'll go through a phase where I love everything in their store, and other times I'll walk in and see absolutely nothing worth even trying on.

When I was in Madrid last spring, I also loved Zara and H&M, but I don't have either of those particularly close to me where I normally live, so it's been a while since I got anything there.

Zara, H&M, Topshop, Forever21

European brands seem to fit me better.
