At least;

12 years and 10 months old... It was April Fools day, and it wasn't a prank. :( It happened while I was asleep!! Then my mom noticed it and woke me.

When I was 12...and I started with pads, and bled pretty heavy. One day at the end of the school day I realized there was an overflow so tried cleaning up in the bathroom as best as I could but the flow was heavy and wouldn't slow for anything so had to have my mom come get me because I was far to embarrassed to walk to the bus like that...and would have got blood all over the seat and yeah far worse then finally admitting to the office lady I had a feminine accident and that is why I needed them to call my mom to pick me up.

I think during this same period I also just randomly passed out one evening I was hungry waiting for dinner and standing in the kitchen watching my brother or sister show me something on the computer and just blacked out, woke up on the kitchen floor with the ambulance there. But yeah they could not find an exact cause of me passing out and said it may have been the combination of my first period, the heavy flow of it as well as maybe going too long without food.

I have to say I certainly prefer tampons, but initially the prospect of sticking them up 'there' was gross to me but eventually got over that because sitting in that period stuff during class wearing pads was even grosser to me.

I was 11. I had known I'd start bleeding for a couple of years but when I started what came out wasn't bright red, fresh blood. It was old blood, brown and thick. I didn't even realize what it was, I thought I must had had an accident. I was so embarrassed I didn't tell my mom, I hid my underwear in the laundry basket and she found it when she did laundry.

I used to be so obsessed about not having it. Now that I get it induced, I don't like it.

I had mine when I was 11. I went to use the restroom first thing in the morning and was in tears because I didn't realize what had happened and I thought something was horribly wrong.

I hid the fact that I had started to menstruate from my mother for nearly three months until we ran out of feminine products I could use, then I had called her on her cell while she was running errands, said "Hey btw I'm going to need you to get ___. Thanks", and promptly hung up. Haha things like this are funny to look back on.

I started my period when I was 13 years and 7 months old. I always felt a little behind when it came to puberty, but then again, the girls I went to elementary school with started puberty pretty early. Imagine 9-11 year old girls who look as physically mature as teenagers.

10.5 While that's earlier then average, I was around 5'4" and a b cup. Mom had been prepping me for it since I was 8, she was worried I'd start at 8 or 9.

I'm not the only one who can remember the exact date then?

I got mine at 12 years and 7 months. It was 25th November 1998. I wasn't ready to grow up and I literally fell to pieces with it. I missed about three days of school because I just wouldn't stop crying.

I guess not...and November 25, is my birthday. Yes, autistic people have very good memories. I can recall being in the incubater at the hospital after I was born and my dad looking in on me.

I got mine on Independence Day in 1997.
