Ok well here's some of my interests
Childhood(age 5-10):
- Movies. Watching some movies over and over again. (i could watch the same movie a week in a row), i knew all the lines - geeky i know.
- Dolls. Not playing interactive games with them, but lining them up, changing their dresses, driving them from one place to another in a car, lining them up again. That's it.. ( and most the time i fotgot to put them back, so my room was all messed up.)
- Toypets. I've had more than 150 toypets, i just had to buy it, when i saw a cute toypet. Never played with them. they were in my bed with me (it was pretty crowded i can tall you )
- Animals. All kinds of animals. I could sit with them for hours. Talk to them, look at them and relax by being with them.
- Dressing up. I had this huge box of fun, wierd, old, different clothes, which i loved to try on.
- Singing. I love singing, and started in the early childhood. It's making me relax..
- Music. Played recorder in 4 years, and my teacher never found out i didnt know how to read notes and just played by ear.
- Speed. I loved everything with speed/action. Jumping out from stuff, climbing, biking you name it.
(10 to 14)
- Horses ( started doing horseriding when i was 8, i love dressage, while there's structure and you're being told all the time what to do. And you can really feel that you're improving. )
- Animals, still kept loving all kinds of animals. Know a lot of facts about different kinda dog, horse and cat breeds.
- Painting/being creative.
- Still my toypets.
- Singing. I started singing in different kinda choirs, bands ect.
- Music. bought my first drum kit when i was 9. Started in a band as a drummer when i was 14.
- Action. Ended up falling down from a 8 meters tall rock. Was blackout for 15 min. But it didnt stop me from doing stuff filled with action.
15 to now (17).
- Singing and playing music (drums, bass and guitar). Started writing my own songs, started getting them recorded. Worked together with some producers.
Had to give up on the horse part, while i couldnt find a way to get to to the horseriding school, cause the person who drove me had to stop.
- Action action action !. Is working in a kayakshop now, and only need a first aid course, then i'm Certified kayakinstructor.
Still loves action, and wanna go parachute jumping when i turn 18. (within 6 months). And then i made myself a promise. That im gonna go do at least 4-5 different kinds of extreme sports before i die.
Sorry for my long post

What type of songs do you write (in which genre(s))? Any particular influences (writers, bands)?

Well I'm interested in a lot of different genders. I can go anywhere from indie, to rock to country to alternative, you name it..
I like many bands but i mostly get inspiration of interesting upcoming and older bands. Like Alela Diane, Eels, dEUS, Editors, Laura veirs, kira, Shannon McNally, ect. But i also get inspiration from bands like muse, foo fighters, the corrs, The fray, guns n roses, eric clapton, ect. But then again, i dont have and specific gender or favorite artist, so it's pretty hard to decide..
Also because both the music and the lyrics mean alot to me.
Let's see here;
My Little Ponies dolls
Action figure collecting
Battle Angel Alita (manga/comic book)
Xenosaga (video game)
Tomb Raider
Anything stimulating and deep can interest me to death! Until it is usually cut short, cancelled, whatever, then my interest just dies. If there is nothing new about it, I can't keep my interest on it.

3. Animals.
4. Words and phrases.
5. Medical oddities.
6. Art.
That's it. I've had these same interests since I was little, and every other "minor" interest I've had has been a sub-category of the aforementioned. Imagine my surprise when I read Attwood's book and he hit nearly all of my special interests when describing girls with AS.
