Or do you have any skin care routines?

I have my special facial wash and microfibre cloth which I use in the shower everyday (apparently, the microfibre cloth does a better job of exfoliating than a normal face cloth), but apart from that, nothing else.

I'm also kinda looking for hints and tips anyone may possibly have for combination/oily skin.

Definitely. My skin is normal to dry and I live in a warm climate, so this is what I do...

Washing Method:

I wash my face with Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Chamomile Deep Cleansing Cream. When I exfoliate, I use a microfibre cloth and a paste of baking soda.
Before Burt's bees, I used to wash my face with glycerin soap. Burt's Bees is 47.00-ish for a tube, but I find the tube lasts for a year as a little goes a long way.

Moisturizing:

Once a week, I make a facial mask using Vitamin E (you can use the oil, or you can piece 3-4 capsules and apply that) which I wear for 30 minutes to an hour.

To keep my hands soft, I spray NaPCA (made by Twinlabs) on my skin once or twice a week, then let my hands air dry.

Other:

Sunblock.

I have combination/oily skin and the thing that I find to work best is regular microdermabrasion - I do it once a month and it really makes a load of difference. another thing that I find helpful is using a good exfoliating tonic (I use Clinique, it works wonders) and a good serum - I use Estee Lauder Idealist, it's expensive but real good and you only want to use a small amount so it lasts pretty long.

I agree with Linnaeus about sunscreen- I use SPF15-35 at all times, would use 50 if I was to spend more time in the sun but thankfully I dislike stark sunlight and high temperatures :P

one more thing I can recommend is Vichy Normaderm Nuit night moisturiser- I think it's the best one I've had so far (and I've tried loads).

I avoid the sun (not hard) and slap on some E45 after bathing.

I use Cetaphil cleanser for my face, which is great as it's non-soapy and doesn't dry out the skin or upset it in any way - it kind of lets the skin be itself. :) Of all skin-care products it's the one I recommend most highly to EVERYONE.

I also get facials regularly (monthly): not the smelly aromatherapy (crap) oily kind, but rather more clinical ones. I've only had Guinot facials for years now - they just work best for my skin (and their high-frequency treatment is ridiculously effective for spots!).

And I always tone and moisturise. I used a great Vitamin C serum from Anew (get it through Avon) at night when I was at uni, and after a couple years of not being able to find it and having less clear skin, I just sourced it and started using it again last night. For the day I use a Guinot moisturiser. I try to exfoliate with gentle products but I tend to get a bit lazy and forget about it for weeks at a time. Now, St Ives Apricot Scrub feels freakin' awesome but such rough scrubs aren't great for your skin, unfortunately. :( And when I'm feeling a little like a breakout might be sneaking up on me I put on a mask of Noxema and enjoy the refreshing tingle. I think using it too frequently can CAUSE breakouts, though, so I try to minimise my use of it.

I tried Clinique a couple years ago, and though some of the products I thought were great (eye creams, that cool pore minimiser stuff), the overall regime did not agree with my skin (worst complexion of my life). I don't think it was gentle enough.

All that being said, drinking water, regular mild cleansing, moisturising and above all SUNSCREEN are the most important!

(Have just proof-read this post and it sounds like I am completely obsessed with my skin. I'd like to deny it, but I suspect it may be true....)

just recently I discovered 'cream' washes, like Pond's cold cream or the aforementioned Burt's Bees cream, to wash the face in the shower with (pond's works as well but is cheaper). I've been astonished at how well it works to keep acne down; one would think that puting an oily substance on one's face would exacerbate acne, but the opposite is actually true to the degree that I notice my skin getting worse if I skip even a day or two of washing with the stuff.

I've given up on my skin, for the most part. It's SO oily! Nothing I do does anything for it! I've tried several things, but no. So...it can just be how it likes now.

The only time I care for my skin, is when I go to beach and put sunscreen on my body.

I do! I use the Mary Kay products, and my skin is very nice. I use the cleanser, blemish toner, the day or night solution, then the anti-aging moisturizer. I think the moisturizer works a little too well, I am 27 and the lady at a lottery booth ID'ed me, she thought I was 17. HA ha ha.

I still have issues with pimples though. so I stopped using the cleanser and toner, and now use the Body Shop T-Tree oil wipes. They are FANTASTIC!

I am a skincare freak! I think I put way too much effort into my skin. I am dry, but have a slightly oily t-zone at the end of the day.

I use a Murad vitiman C gel cleanser and gently scrub with a gentle brush. It's great for getting makeup off.

I wear masks three times a week. One is a mud mask with herbs. I wear it for detox and for extracting oil. One is an enzyme mask, and it's a good brightener and a gentle exfolient. The third is a strong smelling mask by exuvience that minimizes fine lines and clears out blackheads.

After that, I tone. Alcohol-free, and something PH balanced.

My favorite moisturizer is by Korres, and it has antioxidant sugar crystals in it. It really helps brighten my complexion, and gets rid of dark circles. It's also cool because it can be used as night cream, but it doesn't have any SPF.

...Did I mention that I was a skincare freak?

Anyone got any tips for really oily skin? I can't seem to find a good solution for it, and I've tried many things. However, most of what I try, burns. I guess I must be allergic to it. Or a particular ingredient in it? I thought I should find something more natural or something. Most of the things I see are for dry skin, though.

I've heard egg white applied to the skin can help, or was it yolk... I'm not sure, but its one of the two.
