Just wondering because it's Women's Discussion. Not trying to be rude.

Not one of the guys topic

Please see Hale Bopp's Sticky: "Where Males Stand in This Forum", the first thread in this Forum.

The first post explains it. If you have another issue you can see WrongPlanet.Net Discussion near the bottom of the Forums list. Or, you can contact a Mod under Contact Us above the banner above.

just like Willie Sutton said when he was asked "Why do you rob banks?"

"Because that is where the money is"

Guys are here because this is where the women are.

Also because Women's Discussion topics come up on the main index. So when you go to "www.wrongplanet.net" and there's the list of forum discussions on the right side, it doesn't say what forum before you click on it, and sometimes people don't notice, or have something to say and say it even if they do notice.
I think only the Adult Forum posts and Members Only posts don't show up in that. Oh, and PPR, too, I think.

If you're writing a post to a particular group of people or in a specific section for a specific reason, sometimes it's useful to say that in the post so people notice and post accordingly. (Like if you're asking a question specifically geared towards the opinions of women.. that doesn't mean guys can't answer, but might have more something to say about something a woman they know has said or something..) Or like Haven posts are meant for support and not for debate, so sometimes it's good to say in the post that it's a Haven post as well as just putting it in the section, 'cause otherwise sometimes people respond before noticing which section it's in.

That it is, and if a member requests that only women respond to their thread there is generally a polite response in doing so. There are times, however, that while the topic centers around the female perspective and situation, that there is constructive male input. As always, if there is a problem - just contact a member of the moderation team and we'll be glad to investigate.
