I put 2 coats of nail polish on and now it's all patchy! What do I do?!

Nail polish remover -- then try again.

Nail polish remover, redo it with either 1-2 coats of polish & than another coating of clear polish to make it last longer. Also, eat jello b/c nail polish actually thins your nails.

lol.
next time just put on several really thin coats, letting them dry inbetween each, until it looks how you want. otherwise it gets all gloopy and smudged and takes age to dry properly.
