Why is it that when I put on a pair of pants that fit perfectly, after a while they become so stretched out that I keep having to pull them up but when I put on a pair that's a teeny bit too snug, they just get tighter and tighter?

Because neither of us are built like Tyra Banks, thus the All Powerful God Of Pants hates us. ;-)

Most pants anymore have some sort of stretch added to them and I hate it-cotton and linen and denim will give over time and the stretching just adds to the problem. If pants don't fit I don't think "Gee, I wish they stretched!", I just go up a size.

Usually the next size up I can pull on without unfastening. This is why I mostly wear skirts.

lol me too! My problem is that my hips are narrow, but not my waist...there's only a few inches between them. So if I find a pair that fits my hips, thighs, etc., the waist is too small. And if it fits my waist, it sags and bags everywhere else!

I have the opposite problem. My hips and thighs are the widest part of my body, and there's a big difference between them measurement-wise and my waist. So if I find something that fits them the waist is too big usually. It's irritating.

It might be the type of fabric. Tight-fitting fabrics tend to shrink in the wash, whereas more comfortable fabrics will lose shape.

Also may I just say that all bottoms are beautiful. Love your unique butt!

Apple Bottom jeans are good for that if you have big hips and thighs.
Also, if i still have an issue, i either fix it or enlist a seemtress to fix it by adding darts to them...
