I am wondering there is a correlation between autism and height. There is none that I know of, I was just kind of wondering. My mom is 5 "9 and my dad is 6 "0 and I am almost 5 "6. I'm 16 and I haven't grown in a few years, except for maybe like a quarter of an inch or something like that. I looked it up and it seems that girls stop growing around 15. My friend told me that I am only 16 and I will still grow, but I haven't grown in 2 years. My friend is older and was a late boomer herself, so probably still grew when she was 16 or 17. I was an early bloomer. So was my mom, and had my growth spurt between the ages of 8 and 10. I think I am probably finished growing, but I am shorter than both my parents, so that's why I was wondering.

I am posting this in the women's discussion because men tend to be taller than women anyway and I want to see how tall WOMEN are.

My mom's 5'8", my dad is 6' and I'm 5'6ish. I stopped growing around 12 or 13 and up until that point I was always the tallest in my class, even including the guys. Maybe there's a correlation between autism and early growth spurts?

i was apparently always the tallest out of me, my boy&girl cousin the same age and my brother who's 2years older when we were little. and in my class only a handful of people were taller. now i'm probably only slightly taller than average?

what is the average height:/

It depends on where you live.

It generally seems to between 5 "2 and 5 "4 for women though. You can look at the chart on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Human_heig ... _the_world

I'm 5'8". I stopped growing at about 15. Thankfully. I'd rather be a bit shorter really.

I'm 5'7", which I always thought was tall, but lately all my friends are guys, mostly central/northern Europeans, and they're way taller than me. They call me their "little American friend." I always feel short, but I guess that's because most of my friends have always been male. Both my parents are a couple inches taller than me.

my daughter is 5'7" and wishes she was shorter. she feels her personality would be better suited to a shorter stature.

i am 5'2", approximately.

I'm 5'9". I was always average in height as a kid, but I didn't stop growing when most girls stopped growing. I was 5'7" when I started college and grew another 2 inches before finally stopping at age 22.

4'11" I don't want to be tall, but I wouldn't mind a few extra inches.
