Never fear Cinbad's here...I have a faerie tatoo on my ankle. I also have a dozen or so faerie statues around my home. When I get my pilot's license, I am getting tattered faerie wings about 3" tall on my back. And I have a daughter 29 years old so I am much older than you.

PDD-NOS here, but I've always loved stuff like that. In Jr. High I had study hall for finishing homework which usually got done long before the class was over so I read books the rest of the class. The books happened to be collections of old fairy tales - with actually fairies in them and not many about heroes and princesses. I got exposed to stories I'd never read before. Always having had some story going in my head I've 'borrowed' J.M. Barrie's Tinker Bell and created a universe for her, thought she remains Tink in name only due to all the changes I made to her character. If I were able to write the stories out I'd have to change her name. And if I could write them out I'd try to publish them but so far my writing skills/dicating skills can't keep up with the story as it plays in my mind.

I collect ornamental fairies. I have brownies, leprechauns, Cornish Piskies and lots of winged fairies. If I'm holidaying in another Celtic land (which is quite common for me), I'm always on the lookout for a local fairy. I also have paintings of unicorns and dragons. I'm an amateur artist and I'm wanting to start producing that kind of art, but I'm a bit stuck on where to begin (I have a starry sky on canvas and no ideas about what else to put on it).

No. I've always had a weird antipathy towards fairies. Sorry.

Not fairies per se, but I'm into most paranormal things. Ghosts, the spirit world, etc. My neighbor told me there is a fairy living in my garden and she can see her but I can't see a thing. She told me to put some food out for her really early in the morning but...I never did. Then I forgot.

Hi, I'm Anneyce and I admit that I adore fairies. :) Seriously though, this thread make my eyes sparkle. I've always been into fairies and elves since I was a little girl, ironically I've expressed this passion through my drawings over the last 7 years or so. I like them for what they represent to me, freedom and beauty. Fairies exist in my mind along other created beings like aliens, both are kinda influencing each other though. As a result, my version of an alien would be a fairy-like alien. ;)

I'm 35 btw... shhhh, don't tell anyone! ;)

I'm not into fantasy books too much, but when I do, the elves and the faeries are my favourite :) I love dreaming that I have magic and can fly :) And elemental magic is coooool :)
And I love the Unicorns in my Sims 3 game, lol :)

I don't like faeries but I do like the street artist Shepard Fairey.

I have never been interested in fantasy creature such as faeries, elves and unicorns.
Some fantasy films can be very good but It's not by favorite genre of film.
Although It seems to be quite trendy among aspie girls.

Same here though I wouldn't call "obsessed" per say. I just love faeries and mythological creatures as well as stories. Not sure why. I would love to share some embrodiery I did but for now I'm having fcked up time with photobucket. Anyhow it's great to see people with similar interests.

I have collected little fairy figurines when I was a child and I still have them in my room. I love elves and fairies. ^.^
