A self-explanatory Q.
---
I am male..... but I am very fond of the female gender. Thusly, I have nothing to say on this Q.

It means I'd be capable of bearing children if I felt like it. Apart from that, I'm just me.

Just to be contentious, yes we get to have a little fun but the men do get to have most of it.

I love being a woman - although I constantly have to put up with stereotypes, I really enjoy challenging them too. For instance, men often assume I am not intelligent. I go along with that for a while, and then demonstrate my intelligence at a key moment. The look on their faces is priceless.

To me, it's about being feminine. A feminine woman is: a carefully nurturing, thoughtfully selective, protective creator.

It's just gender I guess. It doesn't mean a lot on its own, to me.

:D Yup. Seriously though, it doesn't affect me to the point where it defines me except on a physical level. I think there is too much focus on what qualities constitute femininity/masculinity when the reality is such a broad range. At least we're out of the "Feminine Mystique" days where if marriage and motherhood didn't complete you then you were a crazy neurotic spinster tearing at the moral fabric of society.

True, true. I've said this before: Men and women, it's like yin and yang. ;)

I second that! The parts I have don't make me who I am and eventually I will not have to worry about pregnancy but I face a whole lot less societal pressure as a tomboyish woman than an effeminate man would.

*shrug* Even though I am male, I did say I have a great deal of respect for my opposite gender. :D

Being a woman in human society means that men don't have to take me seriously and get to make jokes at my expense. Jokes about hormones, body shape/size, hair colour, IQ etc etc.

Not all men... but I find gender jokes against women to be particularly offensive. I know I am extra sensitive about this. Many women even laugh at some of the jokes that make me sad or angry.

I'm having a bad day so I guess on a good day I might say something else... or not lol!
