I was wondering if there was such a thing as ''after menstrual tension'', because I've just finished my period and I seem more tearful than ever, and I know it's that PMT kind of tearfulness because I want to cry even when I'm in a happy or neutral mood. Last month I seemed OK, hadn't cried for a couple of weeks or more, but over this week-end I've been crying at every little thing, for example I looked at a lovely bush in my garden and felt tearful because I didn't want winter to come and make the bush look all bare. And there are other things that I cried over what I don't normally cry over when not having any PMT.

Is it possible for a woman to have PMT at other times other than before/on her period? I was wondering if it could come late and occur just when the period is finishing?

It's normal to get it after your period :).

It's normal. I still feel a little out of sorts for a couple of days after my period is over.

I get it before, during and after.
It's PMDD to me.

I always wondered why do some people call it PMT and not PMS?
