Do any of you aspie females carry around a bag during the day such as a handbag, tote or small backpack? (apart from a backpack for school or college)

And if you do, just for fun list it's contents as of now. But thats if you're willing to :P

In my handbag at the moment I have:
- Wallet
- Keys
- Spare change (a LOT, and its making my bag heavy)
- Can of deodourant (Nivea)
- Watch
- ATM Card (sorry I'm never bothered to put it back in my wallet)
- 3 x $20 notes
- Wet Ones Moist Towelettes (yeah I'm a germophobe to the max  )

I don't have a very big bag (dimensions: 25 x 15cm) so you can say I'm quite a minimalist compared to most other females.

I think I'm a minimalist when it comes to this stuff too, and a slob, I've got lots of junk in there!
In addition to all that junk, I've got:
-wallet
-coin purse
-loose change
-keys
-bus tickets
-some old kleenex
- reading light

I'm a little insane about "being prepared" so I have a lot of things that are actually really small and don't take up much room.

-wallet of course (but mine is Hello Kitty)
-checkbook
-keys, but I have a mini flashlight and a mini measuring tape on mine
-chapstick
-a few Ativan (for when anxiety rears its head)
-Ibuprofen (for my husband's migraines)
-a couple pantiliners (just in case)
-mini-nail clippers
-two bandaids
-a few Rolaids
-two Immodium
-rewetting drops for my contacts
-sunglasses (light! agh!)

EDIT: Forgot the most important thing! My cellphone/PDA combo, so I always know where I have to be and when. It also contains all my lists of things that I need to pick up at the store, errands I need to run, books I want to rent from the library, and directions to places that I go often since I get lost a lot.

I don't carry a purse. Mainly because I don't really need one right now, and it feels uncomfortable to carry around. Like an extra animal attatched to me or something. I do take a backpack to college though, which has the usual stuff in it.

Wallet with money, checkbook, license

a bunch of loose change...I throw it in the bottom until it gets too heavy to carry usually.

inhaler, Benadryl...because I am allergic to life in general it seems.

Wadded up store receipts and tons of slips of paper with notes joted down on them...Ughhh..do I ever clean this thing?

a couple of pantiliners here also...

USB thumb drive

pens

nailclippers, comb

peppermints, peppermints, orange tic-tacs, and more peppermints

a small Bop-it Extreme on a key chain...

a bunch of 4 leaf clovers sandwiched between plastic

chapstick

a couple of hair ties

a swiss army knife, some string and some phillips screws I must have taken out of something...

a packet of gummy bears...hmmm wonder how long those have been in there?

I never carried a purse pre-kids. I kept everything in my backpack and if I was going somewhere w/out my backpack, like out at night w/ a friend, I shoved money, ID, and bank card into my jeans pocket (I never wore anything but jeans. lol)

Now I have a big old diaper bag. I have a wallet, cellphone, tissues, pads (of the feminine variety), keys, pens, cell phone charger, and hand sanitizer for me (and possibly them.) Kid stuff I have is diapers, wipes, baby's Benadryl and epi-pens, and toy cars. Sometimes i have extra clothes or underwear for the little ones in there as well. When I go somewhere w/out the kids, I take my wallet and cellphone out, but I feel awkward carrying a wallet--too big to fit in a pocket. Much better now that it's cold and I can shove it into my coat pocket.

I only use a handbag in rare formal dress situations. At work I have my keys, purse and phone in my laptop case. Going shopping or cycling I carry my cards and cash and phone loose in my pocket. I never carry girlie things and wear trousers and coats with lots of pockets. I can't abide handbags and shoulder bags hurt; I also find it hard to keep them on my shoulder.

ImageI don't really have a purse, but I do use a backpack, and I am angling towards a sort of messenger bag kind of thing just because my backpack is just about worn out. And as far as contents go, let's see:

MacBook
external hard drive
rubik's cube
book of the day
red plastic ninja
three blue pens
bus pass
headphones
iPod
notebook
power adapter
AV cable
PowerAde
sketch pad
pencils

Art supplies, a sketch book and a Routemaster replica, when it's not on my dresser, protecting me from Nightmares.

Jack Bauer uses a Palm Treo 650 in Season 5, so it's gotta be cool!
