I'm a bloke. Can I answer?

Emphatically yes! She is the most important person in my life. Without her I'd be devastated. A wreck. I fully realise that I owe her a great deal. Put it this way: she went on holiday for a week. When she came back I had a party and got absolutely wrecked to celebrate her return! I'd be totally lost without her - I owe my continuing successes in life to her. She's stood by me every step of the way. :)

Yes.

We are tune with each other, and she understands me the most. :)

I don't like my mother shes a typical NT slut going after idiot men. Also she never cared about us, probably compared us to our deadbeat dad or something.. gee thanks mom that really builds confidence in a kid! That might explain why I have a hard time trusting women since I basically been let down by them from an early age, together with not knowing anything about AS. So, clearly my answer is no.

edit: oops and im a guy

Heh. Seems like more men are answering here than women :P

In any case... yes, I get along really well with my mother - she's an inspiration to me (especially after she beat breast cancer earlier this year).

I haven't seen my mother since 1989. But we get along OK over email.

Something about my Mum just winds me up. I don't know what it is, and I feel guilty about it because she tries her best, but after being on the phone to my Mum for 10 minutes I just want to hit things, starting with myself. I actually end up punching my legs with frustration.

I have no idea why this is.

I sure do. My mum's the most important person in my life. She's like a friend to me. She was the only friend that I've had, for a long time, until I've opened up to people, nearly ten years ago. My mum gave me life. I'd also be lost, without the most important woman in my life. We know what makes one another tick. If my mum were to die, I'd be in the hospital for a couple of weeks, before I'd be able to be on my own, again.

We get along in person for about two weeks. After that we start to get on each others nerves if we're in close proximity, simply because we're too much alike. Now, if we're living in roughly the same area but I have my own place, totally different story, long-term is no problem.
Even when she does get on my nerves, I still love her. She's sacrificed a hell of a lot for me over the years and has come through on more than one near-impossible promise.
Sadly, sometimes she thinks I'm mad at her, when it's simply a case of me being pathetically craptastic at staying in touch with people.
Fortunately, she and dad are coming up for a week next Sunday.

I get along with my mom really well. She's my best friend really. If something terrible happened to her I would probably lose it. I think she's really the only one who truly understands me.

I've always gotten along really well w/ my mum. I'm sure whe's the one I inherited Asperger's from. We're a lot alike. Although my dad also exhibits a lot of signs, I think he is just an ass w/ ADHD. I do NOT get along w/ my dad at all.

Not in any way. We were both aliens but from warring planets.

I like my mom and she is my best friend. However, since she is NT she still does not really understand me. She always tell me that I'm too antisocial and I keep to myself too much. She thinks that I should just go out and mingle. But going out and mingling does not come easy to someone like me.

We have good days and bad days. That's all I know. Otherwise, we get along fine.
