I should've asked this a while ago but here's the thing: all of my friends are guys and I will occasionally sleep over at their places for a weekend or so on their couch or futon. My nightwear when away from home consists of t-shirts and pajama pants (wont wear anything less when staying over at a guy's) but I feel very uncomfortable about not wearing a bra at nighttime around them. I think in some ways it does show when you're not wearing a bra especially if you're just wearing a tshirt. In past situations I wore a sports bra which is less revealing even if it is too tight but still makes me a bit uncomfortable to wear around others. What would you do in my situation if you had to sleepover at a guy's and need to take the bra off at night for comfort? I will be staying at my friend's apartment this weekend but if you're late on the advice, it's all good. Thanks

If you wouldn't be uncomfortably warm, you could wear a sweatshirt or hoodie over your tshirt as well. That's what I usually do, but I still feel uncomfortable. I think I've seen sleep bras in stores before, they're meant to be comfortable enough to sleep in, but still provide some security. That might be worth looking into if you do this often.

When Ive been uncomfortable with sleeping without a bra, I just wear a sports bra. U can try to find one that is comfortable or a size bigger then what you would normally wear. Or perhaps wearing undershirts, more layers.

I never wear a bra if I can get away with it - they are generally uncomfortable and personally I'd rather deal with the odd person who is disrespectfull than have to put up with wearing one. These guys are your friends right? - they kow you have tits, so I'd expect them to be respectfull when you sleep at their place. I mean use a sheet/blanket, be reasonably discrete, but I would expect that if they are really your freinds you should not have to worry about them learing at you in your sleep - or taking advantage of you!

Bras are kinda ridiculous and should be outlawed anyway.

I want to do this to my bras. I don't really have much to put in a bra though so maybe that is why I don't feel the embarrassment.

i would wear the bra until i crawl under the covers, then i take it off without removing my shirt (in that crafty way, maybe you know what i mean, like one side off at a time and pull it through the sleeve). then i tuck the bra next to me or put it by the bed or couch and in the morning i put it back on before i get up out of bed. sounds elaborate, but then i don't have to sleep in a bra!

That's what I was going to suggest, too. Or, substitute a camisole with a built-in shelf bra for your tee shirt.

If I run off somewhere without wearing a bra, I just put on a comfy hoody. That does a good job at hiding RT/fact you don't have one on. If I'm in my pjs and just want to get a soda, I'll throw my hoody over, put on my shoes, and just go grab my soda and not deal with a bra or jeans.
I don't wear a bra around the house. My mom and dad can just deal with it. I live here, and I want to be comfortable, dammit! =)
I also sleep in just my panties - my parents know not to barge right into my room when I"m sleeping. Nya ha ha!

This is what I'd do as well.

Try wearing a camisole with a shelf bra, or a light-impact sports bra that's a size big on you. That's what I did the first few times one of my guy friends spent the night at my place; I got comfortable enough to just wear my usual t-shirt after a while.

I don't know how large you are but I'm a 36B and I just wear tanks with shelf bras. You could also wear a busy printed shirt that might hide the nipples. If your larger I would do the take off under cover thing. I hate bras but western society doesn't like nipples in public so much.
