I am interested in how common rape is among aspie women, because I know that has effected me and read places it is more common in aspies then the general population, and I set it as a poll I don't expect you to share your answers unless you want to but I would like to see the numbers on the poll.

I've been sexually abused but I'm a male.

In my experience, every woman I have ever known that we've achieved a level of trust, has confessed to me that she had been raped.

Every.
Single.
One.

And I'm a friendly guy, so that's a lot of women.

The numbers are very high. And it's hard to know the definition, too. That may confuse your results. Definition matters a lot. Numbers are lower for what happens in the movies but if you include behavior that seeks to lure and get away with things because a person has limited understanding, ability to communicate about, and ability to respond to a socially confusing situation it's very high.

I clicked this because it is true, I have been, from a very early age.

I was also groomed and lured into being a prostitute when I was very young too.

I have also been raped and drugged and generally treated like a toy.

I went through a lot of my life believing that I was only good for sex.

I do not have sex anymore as I have come to realising that I am probably asexual, I am completely closed off to most people.

I I I I I I I I me me me me! I hate it when I do that.

Ya I know the numbers may not be accurate due to definition and other reasons, I just wanted to know out of interest mainly because it has happened to me and I was hoping someone could relate. Oh ya and I know guys get sexually abused too and raped, and I'm guessing that there's probably a higher proportion of guys on the spectrum that have been sexually abused as well, because predator's tend to pick out the people who are vulnerable.

molested in school AND raped 3 times as an adult

the first two I did not even bother reporting I KNEW I would be blamed, I knew the men

the last time it was VERY violent and I ended up hospitalized and even though black and blue with a broken jaw the cops I reported it to just made fun of me and declared it not a crime

Same here by both men and women! Its my fault for trusting people though.

Trust, and people say you're childish, manipulative, and deserve whatever they feel like doing.

Don't trust and you're paranoid and ungrateful.

Maybe it is different for men, I'd rather be told I'm childish and manipulative then crazy.

Either way, if you're different, there are people who will say you are dangerous. And they don't always let you know they are doing this.

So not IMO your fault.

Someone wants to do this, they find a way. And good manipulators can make anything not their fault. Doesn't mean they're right. Just means they think they are, and in trying to fit in, we lose ourselves and think they are too.

I'm sorry to hear that happened. I reported the first guy , but it was all he said, I said and they didn't do anything, so I never bothered reporting anything else. Wow they made fun of you that if awful.

I am lucky to have never been raped. I hear it's so common in women. is it 3 out of five who get raped? I don't remember.

I've been sexually harassed, but never sexually abused. I can usually tell when a guy is being creepy, so I usually distance myself from creepy guys. I often notice creepy guys in places that I think I should be safe.

That's good, unfortantly I was really naïve at first and didn't know much about sex , like nothing at all so didn't know what was going on.
