Strange Dreams Before Menstruating

Here's a strange question. Do any other women here have bizarre, vivid dreams just before starting their period? Usually my dreams are quite boring and just mimic everyday life, but in the couple of days before I start my period, I will have nights full of very strange dreams. Sometimes I even dream about starting my period, but in strange settings or with other weird stuff going on. I know this sounds crazy and it's probably just me, but I thought I would ask!

I tend to have bizarre dreams before or during, now that I think on it. They make absolutely no sense half the time, and sometimes are more I suppose one could say, 'erotic' or 'sexual' in nature. I don't see why; there's nothing sexy about my period, so why my brain would go there is beyond me! I think I had one before I started where I was supposedly pregnant, but wasn't showing. Yet I had just started to menstrate in my dream...I woke up with a start for that one because it was so strange.

I get violent dreams about a day before my period. I'm just there going "WTF, subconsciousness?".
