There is no such thing as being beautiful no matter what. Setting high standards for how you look is very important. If I were a size 26/28 I would not be beautiful because of my height. Does anyone think there is such thing as unconditional beauty?

There is a difference between superficial beauty and internal (soul?) beauty. Something shines out of some people which makes their surface less important in the general scheme of things. But beauty is always in the eye of the beholder so that means that unconditional beauty cannot exist.

Not to mention other things that are more interesting to focus on. Who wants to spend an hour or two primping in front of a mirror to get the hair, clothing, and makeup right, when one could be reading, walking the dog, or any of a thousand more interesting things instead?

I believe healthy and carrying your weight well is beautiful, whether you're 100 pounds or 200. I don't like superficial, materialistic societies or people. They lack a clear expression of soul.

I don't believe in lines like "you're beautiful, no matter what", "beauty doesn't matter much in a relationship" or "everyone is beautiful".
I might sound mean, but some people actually are ugly. They shouldn't be treated in a bad way or bullied because of that like it happens to most of them because it is not their fault, but they are ugly. And nothing can change that.
But beauty is a subjective concept, so people that are seen as ugly by most people might be seen as beautiful by a few ones.
