People act like I dress like a quirky person. I shop at Torrid, Forever21, Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, Aeropostale and Claire's and other cute stores.

I also wear UGG boots, skinny jeans and low top sneakers, I wear makeup and would like to add some Coach to my fashion collection. I also wear faux fur hood coats in the winter.

I don't know why people accuse me of not being girly.

You dress pretty mainstream, based on the pictures of you that I've seen.

That certainly sounds pretty mainstream to me. Odd that you are being accused of not being "girly" - I dress comfortably and wear no makeup and have never heard that from anyone. I do however wear a lot of pink so perhaps that is why?

It's hard to tell without pictures. Maybe you're wearing items of mainstream clothing but pairing them together in a way that isn't mainstream.

I wouldn't stress it.

Why should it matter? As long as you're comfortable and you're not dressing in such a manner that you'd outright offend people or get arrested for indecent exposure, I say you should be able to dress how you want.

For my standard of main stream. I do think that is very mainstream, though Torrid is one of my favorite stores. But uniqueness wouldn't be a bad thing even if starts off slow even if it's with one thing. But in the end of the day, it's up to you and how you want to dress and being yourself and presentable.

Here's the sites she mentioned in her original post.

Torrid:http://www.torrid.com/homepage
Forever21: http://www.forever21.com
Victoria's Secret: http://www.victoriassecret.com
American Eagle: https://www.ae.com/
Aeropostale: http://www.aeropostale.com
Claire's: http://www.claires.com
*UGG Australia: http://www.uggaustralia.com/

*This site will ask you to pick a country.

Though I hate American Eagle, Aeropostale, UGGs, Forever21 and Victoria's Secret (Since they removed the eyeshadows and most makeup from stores and sites.)
