as someone who is overweight, i would avoid horizontal patterns / stripes etc as they make one seem even heavier ! if there is going to be any patterns at all on my blouses, i prefer vertical ones to create the illusion of a taller frame (i am short and could do with a few inches in the vertical plane).

i also avoid wearing skinny jeans or anything that has tears on it (even if considered fashionable). for one, i am a middle-aged woman, and, for two, these cannot be worn to work or other professional meetings etc. i prefer clothes that are clean, comfortable and give the appearance of staid professionalism.

i did like the duck hoodie and the pink dolman top, though. nice ones !

I'm a 21 year old so I can get away with wearing stuff like this :)
