Just thought I'd inform you all that I recently did the Wilbarger Brushing Protocol, and the agonizing sensory distress that menstruation used to cause me is now pretty much gone.

Said distress was mostly tactile defensiveness to all that nasty wetness down there. I was seriously considering endometrial ablation or even a hysterectomy, but now I barely feel a thing anymore!

Finding an occupational therapist who knows sensory integration therapy and will treat adults is a huge pain, but it's so worth it in the end. If you start the brushing protocol, time it so you're finished before your next period. If it works for you like it did for me, you'll be amazed at how much more bearable it is.
