Yes, there are a lot of male escorts. I've read a fair bit about them, though the women who hire them are those with the money to spend. Even if I weren't monogamous I don't have that kind of money.

According to this the majority of male escorts' clients are men (despite what your personal research might indicate). So being a straight male escort might be more challenging. Doesn't mean you shouldn't pursue it though, but beware of scams.

Being a straight male escort is going to be very, very difficult. First off, in the other thread I believe you mentioned that you are short, which would be a HUGE strike against you. The women who hire escorts are, unless you have a particular inclination towards women who are the extreme opposites of conventionally attractive, usually less attractive than the men who would hire you might be. This means performing oral sex on women who you might find gross, who have terrible body odor, etc & never EVER ever putting your needs above theirs. You also have to deal with them as people, so if they want to cry to you about how bad their week was and how Diana was mean to her at the office, you have to be ready to listen and comfort them. Women pay primarily for men to be their rent-a-boyfriend and less to just be the stud that I think you're imagining. Most of the escorts I've known were gay-for-pay because there was not enough business with just women to make good money. Annnnnnd last but not least, not sure of your location but incredibly illegal in so many places still.

It's funny you mention rent-a-boyfriends because some male escorts have actually seen a possible market for this and decided to cater. Pickup in a prestige sports car, ritzy dinner date, cocktails, romantic walk, before "finalizing" the night. You have to sell a kidney to afford them though.

In what it isn't a huge strike against me? It was always a huge strike against me even in conventional dating.

Many of my prank victims weren't ugly at all, between 20-30, and their pics looked genuine.

As I mentioned before, I've known quite a lot of them in my time (having never been an escort myself, but having been friends with lots of them of both genders). Yeah, I imagine so if one would make an enough living out of it, but the ones who had so willing to meet my "escort persona" so far were far from being gross-looking, In fact, most were above average looking.

I think it's a common stigma that those who like escort must have something wrong in their looks but this is not what I am seeing.
