So I really want to start going to the mall. The problem is there is only one store that will have my size. I've been told to try on a smaller size, but I don't think an XL would fit me. My bust is 44" my waist is 39" and my hips are 47" inches from what I remember and I'm 5'2 and usually wear a 3x.

Should I try a smaller size? I've noticed that sometimes a 3x is too big around my chest and are too long on me. My chest and waist used to be 48" or larger because I was an E cup and my waist used to be 46" so maybe it's all in my head.

Hey xxZeromancerlovexx.

Why not pick out an item you like in different sizes and try them on in the fitting rooms? From there, you can figure out which size best fits you for that particular brand since size may vary a bit from one brand to another.

Sizing changes from brand to brand and i would just try on what you like, i am usually a 22 or a 24 but sometimes i will try on a 20 or a 18 and they fit, like leggings or elastic waist skirts, jersey dresses and knit tops and cardigans. Just try what you want on, some times items are cut bigger than you think. If they don't fit or you don't feel great or comfy in them don't get it.
