Feel so weird complaining about being single!
Unless I'm looking in the wrong places, I almost never see a woman my age (36) or older complain about being single.
Yet, have seen plenty of guys in their 20s or so talking about how they feel so worthless, that no one likes them, etc.
But the depth of self-hate or self-deprecation, I almost never see in a middle-aged woman like myself, and I'm wondering why that is
Just posted a bunch of things in the Love & Dating section about bein single, and now i feel a bit weird about it..
I feel like my thoughts and my words are more like a 20 year old male than someone my age
I feel like I'm violating some sort of invisible code or something, like Don't get too old and female, and complain too much about being single
Just wondering, is this my imagination, or are there really less women out there my age or older that are unhappy being alone?
I wouldn't worry to much about it, there are probably a lot of women that feel the way you do. they just don't say so for fear of retribution from the mean men. like you said a lot of 20-30 year old people complain ALL DAY about no dates. I prefer to take a more... active approach hence mine are usually related to how I can remove my desire to how I can find the girl I want. I a HOW person not a WHY.
