At home I have an anologue scale. It always says I weight 120 pounds. The time of day doesn't matter. It's pretty much always solidly 120 pounds.
Whenever I go on electronic scales I'm always around 124 pounds. Since I'm only about 5'2 I think this is a big difference. Which one do you think is accurate?

Analogue scales can be messed up easily. If multiple digital scales give the same weight, I'd say the higher weight of the digital scales is more accurate.

Even 124 lbs is quite a good weight for your height.

It is good that your scale shows the same weight.

There are some digital scales that aren't very accurate--every time you step on them you get a different number!

Analog scales can be very good--the balance beam technology used in doctor's office are also use for selling stuff.

Perhaps the best you can do is compare your scale against the expensive one used in a doctor's office. If you are always 4 pounds heavier on the expensive scale, you could just add 4 pounds to the measurement you get on your scale.

124 pounds is a normal weight for someone who is 5' 2" tall.

I weighed myself on a scale and a Wii Fit and depending if I read the other scale correctly it was the same weight. I have a very hard time reading scales that aren't digital. Just go with the scale you think is more accurate.

you can recalibrate most if not all analog scales.
also, weight fluctuations are normal due to water retention and ingested food weight.
4 pounds is a semi-big difference but it could be for a lot of reasons. in this type of situation i'd note my weight in the mean of the two (i'm 5'1" btw) because a few pounds are pretty inconsequential when considering all of the factors (like muscle weight vs. fat weight, fat distribution, scale inaccuracies including clothing weight...)

being worried about a few pounds sucks.

I lost about four pounds and I'm not happy about it. I always have to lose weight off my hips first :(. I now feel like my stomach is huge compared to my legs. I didn't even lose this weight on purpose.

That's ok, my legs are huge compared to my stomach. Although it is mostly muscle.

I'd rather have huge legs. I look so unbalanced with my stupid stomach. I always have to worry about making sure I don't look top heavy.

It's probably not good to be either one. I work out a lot. So I have built up my upper body. You could probably build up your legs with muscle to balance it all out.

I do build muscle very easily, but you could still probably make a difference.

All my weight gain goes to my legs first, even though my arms and face are skinny and my ribs show.
